Can’t beat $30 for a decent tee time on a beautiful Saturday, but you get what you pay for. Pace of play was ok. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were good enough. There were a lot of flies in certain areas on the day I played though. Not sure if they had just laid something down.
Affordable
For $30 to walk on a Saturday morning, you can't really ask for more. If you go in expecting the same experience you would get at a $100 you have the wrong mindset. I think the third hole is a very good hole. There are a few holes with a ton of bees.
Nice course to test your accuracy and creativity
While not the longest course, it has many challenging holes. Some tight fairways, a number of dog legs, plenty of well placed bunkers, and a number of water hazards on the back nine. It will test your accuracy and your creativity when you are not accurate. It was a fun and challenging course to play. I would definitely play there again.
Princeton Country Club
i hadn't played the course in many years.
Its a very scenic layout and great walking course. Although not long, its a tight layout with challenging approach shots. I would highly recommend the course for seniors. The condition is just average with many bare areas and the rough being very thin. Overall I still enjoyed it.
Don’t recommend
Older gentleman by the first tee was rude and unfriendly. Greens were rocky. Only nice things about the place was the range, the very nice woman in the pro shop, and the weather.
Good local course
Good, relatively easy course in Princeton. Per usual…uptight rangers with overly strict rules.
It's Not Good There
Only the front 9 holes were open, and it was path cart (only) all day. No notice on GolfNows, no course alert, no discount, grill was closed, no handies, not even a "we should not be ripping you off, my bad". So this is cagey. So cagey.
The second 9 holes took about 3-4 hours, which is mint, and the starter's response was "the bridge was out, stop complaining so much" so the back 9 was closed. When we finished the first 9 holes, there were about 30-40 carts waiting to tee off on Hole 1. That's nice. Of course, we saw their "members / insider guys" playing the back 9, throwing darts, finishing holes in 4-6 minutes, while we were falling asleep waiting 15 minutes before every shot. Cart paths had craters every 3 feet. It's not good there.
Aside from this, the course is mint.
