Ridge Top Golf Course

After booking three players at Ridge Top, I arrived at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017. I was playing with my twp kids (ages 6, 8) and a friend. The gentlemen at the counter asked their ages and said, "sorry but you have to be 7 years old to play. Insurance reasons." I walked out of the pro shop and couldn't believe the gentlemen was turning us away from playing golf. This was my first time at Ridge Top and I was shocked at the poor customer service. I drove 50 minutes to play golf and had played 10 rounds of golf with my children at several different courses in the area (Pleasant Valley, Bunker Hill, Rustic Hills Country Club, Shale Creek). No one has ever turned us away from playing because my son is only 6 years old.

After the rude customer service I received at Ridge Top, I used the golfnow app. in the parking lot to book my another round of golf at Rustic Hills Country Club (10 minutes down the road). We all played a wonderful round of golf at Rustic Hills Country Club at 9 am. the same day.

Course was in excellent condition. Most of the courses are going by the wayside this time of year, not cutting the greens, etc. Not here. The course was beautiful and well maintained and the greens rolled very well. Staff was very pleasant I have played here twice in the past week and the experience is always good.

Great course. Fun, tight course, makes think on every shot. Tuff greens!

This course is always nice condition. The only problem pace of play and everyone does not follow rules of golf. Let faster players play though. For the second time my twosome was following to foursomes of older men who would not let us play though, so at the same point on course we had to jump the same two holes 6 and 7. By skipping over the two groups of foursomes save us hour and half on a 90 degree day. The course needs to remind groups of rules and must be followed, even says on their scorecard. So two rounds we did not get to play number 6 and 7. It only takes ONE group to ruin the pace of whole course. I like this course but if pace is going to be like that after two rounds of going there well i dont know then, need to ranger a little bit.

Course was in good condition considering how dry it has been. Greens were slower than I remember from earlier this year.

Staff was great, and pace of play excellent as well, especially for a Sunday afternoon. Couple of the holes were laid out funky with dog legs very short off the tee, but the course was manicured very well and the greens were fast and true. Never would have found this course without GolfNow.

My buddy and I hooked up with 2 other seniors and had a a good time. What I like best about the course is it layout. All different shots required. The greens are big and were in great shape.

I had a great time playing at Ridgetop on Friday, August 25th. The course was well maintained and the staff was extremely nice. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a quick 18 holes on a nice course.

If I had to pick my favorite course in medina county this is it. On top of that the staff are all super friendly and the owner too. They have some tough greens and a great layout. I can't wait to play again
