Golfer Reviews
First time here
Absolutely loved this course. I've been golfing for a little over 10 years now, and this was the first course I've ever stepped up to that first tee and felt at home. Typically my bag is heavily limited due to course length. But here I could grip it and rip it and let my driver eat 320+ all day long
Not playing again because….
The course is in great shape and I like it. The issue is with the timing of the hot deal tee time. You can see that pvcc is usually wide open in the mornings until the hot deal. I got there and teed off at about 1045 for my 1104 time and played the first nine in a little over an hour. I was cruising with a +3.
When I went to make the turn, there was a group on the 10th tee box, and groups on 10, 11, and 12. They were sending groups off the back to play 9 holes. I parred the 10th and then watched a group hit maybe 10 tee shots off the 11th and I decided to quit. After crushing the first 9 holes, I knew it was gonna be a long long long back 9 and my score would probably that.
Not bad if you have 6+ Hours to play 18
Unbelievably bad management of tee times.
Greeted at the pro shop (not really, just a few balls and some tees.) But a pretty cranky lady who obviously regrets her job.
Tee time started 20 minutes late. The were carts backed up on every hole, no rangers to at least try and help the pace. No beverage cart, which isn't necessary unless its taking 3 hours to complete 9 holes.
When you do make the turn, your choices are hot dog, sausage. That's it, no big deal, but if you buy less than 4 beverages they won't give you ice.
No amenities to speak of.
Robot mowers going midday in fairways.
5 and a half hours at hole 13 and we had enough and left.
$75 for 18 and a cart, I wouldn't play here again if it were free, Ill never go back, and the gentleman that I got grouped with feel the same.
It's a crying shame, because this place could be great and maybe worty of $75.
A friendly staff, proper tee time spacing, a few simple amenities and proper maintenance would be a good start.
But. This place fails all of these.

Course layout was basic. Fairways and greens are in good condition, yet around the edges and cart paths need much improvement. Course is not marked, especially for tge cart locking system. $37 per person through Golf Now for 9 holes was not worth it. Definitely have better options locally for the cost.
Potential, But Needs Improvement
The biggest issue was course management. We waited on nearly every shot and never saw a marshal or staff member trying to improve pace of play. The greens were inconsistent, amenities were lacking (no water at the ball washers), and the overall experience felt neglected. I still enjoyed spending the day golfing with my brother, but the course itself needs better maintenance and more active management to justify a return visit.
Beautiful Conditions
Very nice course. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in excellent shape. The bunkers had plenty of sand, but could use better raking. GPS in the cart was appreciated. As other reviewers have noted, the cart paths are atrocious. Since I was there to golf, and I don’t golf from the cart path, I didn’t care.
Very nice course but horribly slow play
Course in very nice shape. Round took 5-1/2 hours. No ranger. Called clubhouse twice to try to move slow groups into position (groups ahead of us were 1-1/2 holes behind) but nothing happened. Horrible boundary limitations for carts. Can’t venture off fairway to locate errant balls. No cart girl. Had to wait for players coming off 18 to get a cart. Too much hassle for $72. Much better full service courses in the area. Won’t be returning.
3 hours for 9 holes but...
Paid for 18
Had to wait for a cart 20 mins passed my tee time
Handful of carts in the barn, guess they didn't want to use the gas, I ran wonder why.
Played the only 10 and 11
Two groups in front of us
Called in twice
To pick up the pace.
Stay away
Just bad.
Fun and enjoyable round
I really enjoyed this course. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all in excellent condition. It was refreshing to only encounter robotic mowers instead of large maintenance crews throughout the round. While the cart paths are a bit rough in places, they didn’t detract from the overall experience. I’d definitely play here again, especially if I can get a Hot Deal.
Nice Layout
Course was in nice shape. Older course with a lot of character. Plays over 6400 yards from the white tees. For a senior of 73 years old, it was a challenge but fun to play.
Pleasant day of golf
The course itself is in nice condition, the same can’t be said about the cart paths, the weather was nice all week and I could bypass and use the rough or fairway except the par 3s. Past that it was an enjoyable day of golf.
Cart paths need love, but awesome place!
Awesome course and awesome staff. Love everything about the place. Cart paths need some love and updated but other than that it’s great to play at.
