Great course to play
This course is challenging right off the bat starting you off with a par three over water, shorter course but the degree of difficulty is made up for elevation with elevation changes and thick rough. When the greens are wet, you have to really hit the ball
Excellent, Lush, Thick grass
The greens, fairways, and rough were in healthier shape than pretty much every course around.
Really good course.
Made some improvements this year. They've really kept up with the course. Really good pace
Met up with new friends
I played the first hole following two men a head of me when I finished they stayed on the second tee and ask if I was alone if so would I like to join up with them. We had a great day I met Frank and Doug from Youngstown.
It was a great day with some new friends.
Unexpected
This was the first time we had played the course is was a pleasant surprises you start out with a par three over water. And from then on was a aventure that wa great fairways was manicured as well as the greens. I hate to give the place such a great rating now it will be hard to get tee times.
Nice Course
I like this course because there are challenging elevation shots as well as water hazards… The first and 10th hole are both par thre I like this course because there are challenging elevation shots as well as water hazards… The first and 10th hole are both par 3's over water. It's a good test to see how your round will play out
Challenging, yet fair.
This is a very nice course, it's clean and well maintained. The play is a bit challenging for the lower level golfers, however it equals out with some of the easier holes. There are some holes with great views.
Course was in good shape pace of play was good
I did not like when you raise the rates on the GolfNow
A Hidden Gem
This is a great local course! Front plays short and the back plays long, a great test of skill.
HIDDEN GEM, WOW!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time playing this course, and it was AWESOME. The conditions were some of the best in the area, better than Fowler's Mill and Shale Creek in the month of may.
The course is short, especially the front nine, no par fives. But with tons of elevation changes and nicely placed doglegs, it plays longer. If you want to hit driver every hole, this is not the best course for your. This course ask you to hit a well placed tee to be in a good shot to small greens. Both nines start with gorgeous par threes over the same lake, don't miss 10 to the right or your ball will end up in the lake. Great views from 12th tee. I can't see how well maintained and beautiful this course is. I have played tons of courses in the area, this is easily one of the best values.
Conditions were perfect for early May. Wow. With all of the local course closures, I hope this course makes it.
Go there now!
Paradise Lake is once again my favorite course to play. It's closer than you think and even though it's April, the course is in great condition. The people are always friendly and that includes both the workers and the patrons. It is seldom very busy and the price is always right. What more can ask for?
2nd day open
The course was wet in only a few spots. Since it was raining lately , that was great. Greens slow did it gets warmer. Forgot to get my sausage sandwich at the turn. Went to buy one after, and mentioned I forgot it at the turn, the girl tells me it's free on weekdays at the turn with a soda and will not take my money. How is that for service.
Best fall golf
They had the course spotless in November. Amazing work! Awesome scenery as well.
Nice course
Aesthetically pleasing - fast, cushy greens - beautiful day.
amateur
Nice looking course. There was no starter so it was a little bogged down at the start. Very scenic! Would be nice course for experienced golfer but tougher for someone like me. Lots of trees and narrow fairways. I would recommend for good golfers but I won't be back.
Very short and lots of dog legs
The course conditions are pretty nice, as I did not have any problems with tees, fairways, or greens. My issue with the course is that I found myself hitting iron-wedge on multiple holes just because the hole would go 230 yards and then loop around some trees. If you don't have a range finder, it would be very difficult to tell how far you need to hit the ball to have a good approach shot. It's also a very short course measuring only 5800 yards from it's tips. I do not imagine myself playing here again for those reasons.
Short but tough
This was my first time playing here. It was short on the front, but tight fairways and tons of dog legs. This was a very tough course and challenges you to be accurate. I will definitely be back.
