Roses Run Country Club

About
Roses Run Country Club is touted as being northeast Ohio's toughest public golf course. The course has an interesting mix of holes from lengthy par 4s to tough par 3s and reachable par 5s. The front nine is a traditional links layout while the back nine hugs the Cuyahoga River with winding fairways that melt into fast, sloping greens. The layout incorporates a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play throughout. Roses Run Country Club will require some creative shot-making and the use of every club in your bag. It's a formidable layout that will test even the most skilled players. There is a driving range and practice putting green you can use for warming up, which might be a good idea before taking on this tough course.

Great layout. Friendly people.
This course is definitely in my rotation. The greens are in excellent condition and the rest of the course is good with some tee boxes and spots in the fairway getting a little torn up. Unlike most courses, the sand traps have ample sand and are well cared for. I really enjoy the layout with a good variety of holes and shots. The houses shouldn’t come into play as they are well separated from the fairways and greens. Everyone is very nice and accommodating.
Took a friend for their Birthday
11:32 tee time on a Sun. arrived 30 mins early as one should. Especially since this was our first time to the course. Golf now skewed our info, but the clubhouse got us squared up quickly. He warned us of the delays on the course so I guess it wasn't a total shock when we had a 5+hour round. Cart girl earned her money that day. All in all good time good course and good people. 👍
Not what it was
Fairways were either soaking wet or dry to the dirt. The rough was way overgrown, lost three balls and what was supposed to be light rough aside from that the greens were in good condition.
This course needs a lot of work! Not worth the money!
We have played every course in the state of Ohio and this course would be in our bottom 10! The course is in terrible shape. Unless you are playing for free don’t waste a dime.
Loved it!
Country club private course feel but open to the public at a good price. Great place. Will go again!
Could be a great course…….
Course is not well maintained and very pricey for the quality of the course. Golf carts are really worn and ours wouldn’t stop without standing on it full force.
Great times
Roses Run Country Club has so much character. From the clubhouse to the course, it’s unique feel is much different then many courses in Ohio. The staff was very welcoming. I can’t wait to go back.
Very nice course!
Was looking for a new course to play and came across roses run! Very nice course in great condition. Just beware of the houses! The course does run through a housing area so just beware of this those! Staff were extremely friendly as well!
