Well maintained
The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were excellent. I was very impressed with how well it has been maintained even through the hot days of summer. It might just be my new favorite course.
Surprisingly good
Good value for the money. Patrons are the problem here. Not fixing divots on the greens and spitting sunflower seeds on them as well. Driving range was affordable as a bucket is only $4.00. Would play again.
Good value for the money.
Course was very wide open.
A few holes that I should have driven up to look before hitting because it was more left or right than the card showed.
Pace of play was good.
Pretty dry but course was in good shape.
Friendly people and staff.
Worth a look!
Great shape for drought conditions
Northwest Ohio is super dry right now. Pike Run was is EXCELLENT condition. The fairways were soft (when my ball was on them!), the greens were true and fast, and pace of play was perfect.
Great local course!!
I enjoyed playing Pike Run! The course is in very good shape for the dry weather we've had... tee boxes are moderate and very well kept. Fairways groomed and greens firm and well, green ! Pond and creek features have been kept up and the course layout is interesting. Staff seems always friendly and helpful. If you are new to Pike Run, be mindful of directions to the next tee!
This course gives you different challenges with water, fairway and green side bunkers, some wide open play and some narrower fairways with either field grass and or water and trees to keep you committed to a straight shot from the box. The fairways and greens were well played but in decent shape. The greens rolled well and were rather quick, so make sure you take a good look at subtle breaks on the green and position yourself well to so two tier green for your best chance for par! I like playing this course and do several times each golf season.
