Great course, in great condition.
My son and I have been looking for a course that is good for both mid and high handicaperd and is equidistant between East Liverpool and Columbus. Rawiga is 1:40 minutes for both of us and though you have to be on your game to score low, misshits don't always mean penalties. The greens were the best I've played in a while, and overall conditions I would say were excellent. We both agreed that we'll play there again.
Former private coourse
This course was private at one time. Excellent layout and rolling terrain. Greens are quick and undulating. Sand traps are fair, but at least raked and free of debree.As most public courses, no one on the course to keep play moving, pass out water, or answer questions. Your on your own out there. Fortunately, better players there and play moves along.
Very wet
Course is usually in good condition but the drainage of the course isn’t well. I played Turkeyfoot the day before and night and day difference. Turkeyfoot greens and overall course conditions were great.

The course was a mess with many trees and tree branches down and debri everywhere including the greens. The course should have been closed for clean up and to dry up

Weather
I didn't play this course on 3/5/23. They were not allowing carts out and won't be for a couple of weeks . I attempted to cancel and call but haven't gotten anywhere.

Didn't play this course today, showed up 30 minutes prior to tee time, it was a ghost town, 3 cars in the parking lot. No carts on the course, spoke with someone there and they said they have been having issues with golf now advertising rounds with carts. He said they aren't putting carts out for at least another 2 weeks. I have spent the last 6 hours trying to get a credit or refund.

Poor conditions
Paid for 18 but left after nine because conditions were so poor. Tee boxes not marked and in bad condition. No attempt was made to clear leaves so hard to find ball even if in fairway.

Old growth trees, slanted fairways, hilltop greens
What a backroad gem. Mowed low. So low you'll roll into trouble. Oh sure, you'll find your ball, but have fun hitting it off hard pan and through old growth trees. And make sure you're short, as long shots slope away. Nice firm greens. Never too busy. (A shame). Enjoy.
Peaceful place
If you're looking for a course which isn't overly crowded, has a solid layout, with excellent greens this is your spot. Many of the greens are crowned making the approaches and distance control essential. While many of the fairways had dry patches and didn't look great, the course did a nice job of clearing leaves and keeping it reasonable to find your ball in the rough. Putts rolled true and firmly all day and I was able to play in under 4 hours.
Course Ok
course is fine and a bit beat up on tee boxes and fairways we're just ok. greens were nice and rolled smooth and true. Staff is dishonest and "shops" the lost and found for nice items failing to return them to owners. Stolen speaker after having staff set aside fore to pick up.

Needs work
Many bare spots in the fairways….many tee areas were in horrible condition
