Turtle pace.
5 hours to get around at a 9:30am tee time. Ridiculous slow play by a league. Need to let people know they are behind a league. Would not have gone there if I knew of the league. Turtle on the 16th fairway was faster than the league 4somes.

Even on a cold, windy day, Rawiga shines!. If you’re willing to make a drive out from the city, you’ll be rewarded by a beautiful, well-maintained course. It’s an old school course which combines thoughtful golf architecture with a fantastic piece of ground. The greens are severe enough to penalize bad approaches, and roll fast but true. In the summer when the course is firm, shooting in the 70’s is a real achievement - even for a scratch golfer.
I play this place a few times a year, and if I lived closer I’d become a member and play it every day.
Excellent course in the area
This course is challenging enough to be fun. Really enjoy playing this course, all 18. The course has never been in bad shape, always pristine.
Nice lay out
Good condition for Nov - great chicken salad sandwich!! They keep the leaves off as much as possible

Course review
The course was being aerated on the tees, apron, and greens. I was single player with threesome ahead. Play was slow with groups on tee, mid-fairway and green on same hole. At the turn, pace remained the same. Hole 16 is a long par 5 with fairway blind spots. From that tee I had no idea where the threesome were at, once in middle of that fairway, I couldn’t see the tee nor the green. A bell would have been helpful. Maintenance had cleaned the fairway of leaves and on some holes, the leaves were shredded in cleared wooded areas, easy to find a stray ball. The clubhouse is clean and spacious. No wait time in the pro shop or for food and drink. First time playing the course, the holes were challenging, especially the greens. A great course to improve your short game. I will be scheduling another round next week.
Excellent Course
The course was being aerated but it was still in great shape! We were able to get our round completed in 3 hours. They were very nice and the staff did a great job!
Terrible
Terrible staff they only want members to play there so why is it open to the public very old men wanting they Owen golf course make it private then sad course save your time & money.
