Seriously?
Tee time was 6:40 and they had the sprinklers on in the fairways the first 2 holes. We got past that and finished the front 9 in 2 hours. Then we got to the back 9 and they sent a wedding party out and they played scramble golf. None of them had etiquette and the back 9 took close to 3 hours. Who does this? Very poor course management on their part.
Nice course, good value for money
Had a pleasant round of golf with 3 other golfers I ended up joining up with. Fairways and greens maintained in overall good shape, few rough patches of grass that they're re rowing grass on. Greens true to putt on with lot of undulation making approach shot positioning important.
Course was in excellent shape. The fairways were nicely cut and the greens well manicured. Definitely recommend playing this course.
SURPRISE!
This was the first time I played Raintree without complaining about slow play. Nobody was at the course. We had no one in front of us or behind us for 18 holes. It was golf paradise.
Course has improved over the years
The greens are the best I’ve ever seen them. Fairways were in good condition. Some of the sand traps could you send other than that I enjoyed playing there
Nice amenities, course just average
If you’re looking for a solid value for a weekend round with a nice clubhouse, friendly service and good pace of play this is your spot. The course itself has a great layout and challenges you, however the conditions are rated a bogey on my golf scale. Fairways are cut too high, some bunkers are just dirt without any sand, and plenty of divots all over.. The green roll well so I’ll be back just feel the course is trending the wrong direction.
One of the many great courses in the area
My tee time was 6:06pm was hoping all the leagues would be close to done but got stuck behind them. Still played 9 though. It is a great golf course that is in great shape. The guy working in the pro shop was extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely be back.
