First time playing this course and it was just okay. Round of 18 took 5 1/2 hours for a twosome. No ranger to help manage course time management. It was great weather so the course was fully booked as expected but when you have to wait at every hole for two different groups to play the hole... that is just poor course management in my opinion. The course conditions were okay for the price of our round but nothing to be excited for. I will not play here again.
First timer
Wow, the staff and owner were so friendly. The course was in great condition for this time of year. Leaves were down but well out of playing areas. Course value was unbelievable and well worth the 40 minute drive from Worthington, OH.
Well maintained
Course is in terrific shape. Greens were being aerated.
Very nice to be able to call the clubhouse and order a fresh sandwich for the turn. Their grilled cheese sandwiches on Texas toast were outstanding.
Will def be back

A fun challenge!!!
This was my first time playing here but I had a blast with my dad. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the course layout. The greens were fast with plenty of undulations. It is uniquely designed and offers a little bit of everything. My dad and I both struggled a bit not knowing the course or having played many courses with quick greens but the course was absolutely beautiful. This is now one of my top 5 favorite courses in town and I’ve played just about all of them over the years. I am a long hitter averaging 300+ off the tee so what I loved most about this course is that it’s not just hit it long and straight off the tee and wedge into the green. This offered many challenges off the tee and approach shots. A few holes have hard doglegs, water, bunkers, etc so I was often hitting irons or hybrid off the tee. So many courses are just driver and wedges for me but here I used every club in the bag. What an impressive course! I’ll be back real soon!!!
Great Experience
Tried to play this course a week earlier, but they got 4" of rain the night before and the course had flooded. We found the course to be in excellent condition and no standing water, although it was wet in quite a few places. The fairways were good. The greens were fast and had quite a bit of slope on them. Some of the greens were a little thin, but not too bad. Staff was friendly. Price was very fair.
TREES
Yeah, they have a few large trees and a few tight fairways.
Kings Mill
Good fun course. Pretty good for a beginner like me. I’ll come back soon.
