Big Walnut Golf Club

About
Big Walnut Golf Club is a nine-hole, executive-length course that sprawls across the rolling hills of Sunbury. A meandering creek divides the course, which is dotted with mature trees and sparkling ponds. The layout consists of four par 3s and five par 4s that provide an interesting variety that gives players of all skill levels the opportunity to hone their skills. Long hitters will be delighted by the lengthy fairways on the par 4s that will allow them to hammer the ball off the tee. Big Walnut Golf Club's fairways are also generous, but they reward caution. Water hazards come into play on four holes, most notably on the scenic par-3 second, which requires an accurate downhill tee shot to a green that is over surrounded by both water and trees.

Great time! Awesome Service!
I went the other day and the weather was perfect. My boyfriend and I always try to find newer places to golf. This one was great for the value! This course was amazing and fun to play. All the Employees were very kind. We were a little nervous because we read the past reviews from 2013, but something must have changed because now it is wonderful. Disregard the past reviews, this place is awesome.
Overall, not quite as bad as i expected.
Took my 10 yr. old daughter to play 9 and had a good time. The grumpy guy behind the counter didnt even charge me for her to play. Which is why i gave 2 stars instead of 1. Thanks buddy. A few of the greens were horrible. But was pleasantly surprised that a couple were pretty decent. Kind of a neat little layout.
This course is good for a beginner. A lot of waters hazards.
The course was very short 9 courses with a lot of water hazards. Good for novice player and attendant was not that friendly thought.
course needs ALOT of work.
Barely worth the $7 I paid for 18 holes riding. 9 hole course & didn't make the turn. Lots of 1st time golfers.
It is a low cost course so expectaions are low.
It was pooring rain and they would not give me a rain check so lost my money. Will never go back again
What a terrible course.
I should not complain too much considering that this is a nine-hole course for 12 dollar greens fee. I have to admit that it is extremely important to have good greens. However, the putting services should not receive all of the attention. Any golfer understands that the goal is to land in and play from the fairway. The big problem with this course is that everything is the rough! Fariways? Sadly there are not any at all...
