Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Great course, plan on playing again when in Ohio.

I really enjoyed the course and its layout. The course was difficult due to the high rough and the leaves which made it hard to find your ball. The conditions of the course were above normal including Grissly.

This course is an enjoyable challenge

First of all this course has always had a slow play problem and that problem was still present when i played it. As far as the course goes i think it is a very good layout. There is a lot more elevation change than i expected there to be. The front 9 requires some accurate driving off the tee. Hole #7 fairway is very tight. I thought that the back 9 opened up a little bit and allowed for a bit more error off the tee. Hole #14 was a stand out hole featuring an approach shot over water. Im not sure what it is about this course but even after all the slow play that I encounter every time I go there i keep coming back. I just enjoy the challenge it presents.

Good condition but no pace keeper.

Good shape for Green. But the group ahead was playing back tee even looked like less than average players. Then we were made to wait for a long time every holes. No marshal at all.

For the right price...

With a deal price Beckett is still a good course to play. The conditions are adequate and the layout is challenging. During the week there are not a lot of players so the pace is good.

great course,snobbish members

loved the course BUT after having no problems on the front nine we went to the snack bar as usual.after waiting for a few minutes, not sure how long but the next group came up to the counter as we were leaving,a girl shows up to inform us no hotdogs or sandwiches.all we have are crackers and candy bars.so we got something and left.the group of 2 older couples behind us declined to get anything so on #10 they were waitng on us.we teed off and things were going well when a ranger came up.i asked if everything was ok.he said yes just checking cart numbers.2 holes later ranger comes back says he got call we were holding people up.we apologized and he left.on the next teebox when the other group came up to the green I told them if they just told us we would let them play thru.they didn't have to call .they said it wasn't us.as if on cue 3 guys came flying by with their noses in the air.they just skipped 2 holes to go around when all they had to do was ask to play thru.my 4some played at 32 different course last year and never was a problem anywhere else.so a week later 1 buddy was talking to my brother who was telling him how he had just played at beckett ridge and the ranger came out and got on them for playing slow.my buddy called and said hey they did the same thing to your brother.amazing.members resenting outsiders on their course are missing the big picture.that's free money being invested in their home course.get over yourselves people!!!
