Long drive
I live in the Denton area so it was about an hour drive. We were the second group out and never waited to hit any shots. Played in 3 hours. Greens are small but in good shape. Very firm and not very receptive. Several shots landed by the pin and bounced over the greens. Fairways were in decent shape. Tee boxes need some work. Some cool holes and the views are pretty. I enjoyed the round and if it was closer would add it to the rotation of courses we like to play.
OK Golf
Not much grass on the fairways but it was March so maybe it was just early in the season.
Layout of the course was good but needed more a few more signs getting to some of the holes.
Tee boxes were nothing but dirt
I’m not sure about the reviews of this course but I’ve never seen tee boxes in worse shape,I’d rate fairways 3 out of 10 ,greens 8 out of 10 I’m sure the course was nice 40 years ago
Beautiful Day for Golf
I always love playing this course. The front 9 was a little wet from a recent rain, but all in all it was a fun round. I’ll be back.
Great Place to Play
Love this course. I’ve played her almost weekly since August 2025. Staff is always friendly and the course is great
Nice Course
Fun Course! Enjoyed the layout. Had some challenging holes for a 80+ handicapper. I wish they would have had coolers for drinks, and a bigger selection of refreshments. Overall, a good time!
Falcon Head GC
Golfnow price excellent. Great round in great conditions. Couse still a little wet from ice storm but not bad. Greens great shape.
Worth the trip
Living in the DFW area (Denton) there are plenty of courses to play. However, with the influx of humanity moving here it's becoming increasingly tougher to score premium tee times. Not to mention the crazy increase in green fees. Falconhead (like many other outlier courses) is a welcome relief to overcrowded weekend golf. It's a hidden gem. $55 on the weekends in DFW are impossible for a decent course and there are no crowds at this great course. Staff are friendly and helpful. Course conditions are super, no crowded tee boxes, fair pricing, out in a quiet country setting.. and not that far away. What's not to like? Will be returning soon.
Great Course
I love playing this course and would highly recommend it. The staff is great and the course is in great condition. The greens are lightening fast and can kick your butt if you don’t pay attention. Definite Recommend.

It is well kept. Fairways are clean and the greens are the best greens around here.

I had a great time playing this course. It’s away from the noise of the city. It was nice enjoying the nature. The green were fast and kicked my rear. Can’t wait to play it again soon.
Fun course
Really enjoy Falconhead. Play there 4-5 times a year as we live 40 in away. Great layout with very pretty holes. Challenging but fun for average golffers.

The course was looking good and playing good. The only downfall was the greens but because people aren't fixing their pivots. Overall was a great day.
