Great Value
Priced for those that don’t play a lot or play very well. Wide open fairways on most holes yet it provides some challenges. Options for length of course with Blue, White, and Gold for men and Red for women. Some holes need to be marked better as do the yardages. They should make sure their colored stakes are in every fairway and as an addition paint the colored strips on the cart paths.
Good round to sharpen skills
Price is very lucrative, course upkeep leaves something to be desired. Some of the greens are in rough shape. Most of the course is in decent shape. The fairways are hard to define as there isn’t a difference between rough and fairway grass height or quality. The course layout is challenging, lots of obstacles. Overall I am happy with the course for the price. I think it is a good course to fine tune your skills.
Great course for the money
Great course for the money. Kid in the pro shop was very nice and welcoming (forgot to ask for his name). Greens need a little help, but other than that the course was fine. VERY fast pace of play, got finished in about 2 hours. Will be back again for the right price.
course is so so.
Came from Ft Worth to play b/c I got it for $13 on Golf Now. Flash price was for walking only which I didn’t see stated. Front desk allowed us as a 1 time courtesy carts for free. That was great but if I had seen this special didn’t include a cart, I wouldn’t have bothered. All fairway grass was dead and 1/2 the greens were bad. I would have been upset if I paid the regular $39 to play.. We had a woman in our 4some so we let a lot of people play thru to not hold them up and that was nice. Course is very flat n open so not very challenging. If you want to let your driver rip this is a course to play..
It's a simple municipal course aslong as you have that in your expectations this is a fantastic course to learn on and a great value for the money if you look for deals it can be had for $10 with a cart
Needs a Greenskeeper
The course could be a hidden gem, if it had someone who knew how to maintain the greens. From tee to green, the course is soft and great. Once on the green however, just pickup you ball and move on. Unfortunately it’s always been this way. I’ve been playing this course for years and the greens have always been terrible. However, they recently raised their fees. That prompted me to write this review. If they’re going to demand a higher rate, then they need to fix the greens so that we can putt.
Could be ok
This course needs some love and it might be ok. It has 18 holes but aside from that needs some tlc.
Good Value
This is a good place to play a practice round mid-week when the rates are low. I would not recommend playing on the weekend with the weekend rates. Greens are old school Bermuda and very slow. If they rolled the greens once a week it would improve the experience.
A good place to practice.
Greens are terribly slow. This place needs some serious TLC. Rough needs to be mowed, fairways are OK. There are zero perks at this course. Better bring your own drinks because there is no access to anything.
Good place to prcatice
A good place to practice, but greens are very slow.
Quiet course
The front nine is a par 37 with three par 5s.
Stay left on #2. The par 3 #3 involves a carry over a creek that feeds into a pond that only factors in if you hit a tee shot is that wayward to the right. Near where the creek that feeds into the pond is a somewhat tall tree which makes a low entry into the green even more narrow.
#6 is a dogleg right on which placement of the tee shot (over a creek) is vital as the entry to the green (over a creek) is a little narrow.
On #9, avoid a wayward drive to the left because the trees make an approach over either the trees or the large pond to the green virtually impossible.
For short hitters, the tee shot on #17 can be difficult because of a potential carry over water and because of a initially narrow fairway bordered by water to the left and the woods to the right.
