Choctaw Creek Golf Course

The course was in good shape for this time of year the bent grass greens were in great shape and the ball rolled well on them not to fast and not to slow. I have played this course in the summer time and it has always been well maintained. This time of year lots of fallen leaves but they control them the best they can. I would recommend the course. One of the better public courses!

Just not getting the play to justify putting a little money back into the golf course & club house, ashame.

If their was more money and time invested in this course it could be a money maker.

First time to play, was pleased with the course and staff.

Course was in great shape but the rough was a little high for a public course and slowed play down. Greens was in good condition but I thought they was really slow. Overall a good experience. Will play again soon.

I have played this course numerous times over the last few years and i am very impressed by the improvement in quality. It is worth the money at full price but with the disounts, its the best value around!

Some maintenance needed on a few of the fairway, but it is late in the season. Greens well maintained, and rolled well. I will return, and bring friends.

Used the GolfNow.com coupon which was truly a fantastic value for this course and I found the course personnel very friendly and inviting. Course has a good mixture of challenging and easy holes and a restroom centrally located making for easy and quick access from multiple holes. Water provided at a few holes was cold even on a 97 degree day thanks to them adding ice to the water buckets. Additional water places would be a nice addition.

The greens were in excellent shape. Hole placement was good for the average golfer. Fairways were well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Just a good all around experience.

staff not friendly greens are as long as the fairway(wait not much grass in the fairway) not even a good deal at $10

Booked, showed up, got hooked up, and enjoyed a nice day on a nice course, for a kick butt price! Thrilled and looking forward to doing again ASAP!

I booked a tee time for $16 on Golf Now for myself, which required me to pay at course. I arrived with my 14 year old son and noticed their board showed junior fees were $6. I also bought 2 bottles of water and a small bag of tees they had at their counter for a buck and change. The cost for golf should have been $22 for a Monday afternoon. I was charged $37 and change. They either did not honor the Golf Now reservation or charged me full price on a junior or they have very expensive water. This wAs not the first time I got the shaft from an employee there. Another time I went with a foursome 2 adults 2 juniors and we tried to use a discount card that was purchased through a school fundraiser that allowed us a discount. They would only allow 1 person to use the discount so I tried to book through Golf Now for a tee time 12 minutes before it was to go. It would not allow me due to the tee time being too close it had expired. No one had booked it yet and I showed the guy on my phone that that price for that time was available and he would not honor it. The people there are rude and obnoxious and the try to milk you out of as much money as they can. Be careful playing here with a discount they will make sure they get full price out of you or you won't play.

Choctaw Creek is a nice course for the money spent. They seem to run many different specials. The course is fairly long and hilly, a golf cart is a must.

Choctaw is a friendly place with friendly people and Choctaw Creek is no exception.

This course is not very well maintained. The greens are nice but that's about it. Fairways have weeds growing and the first cut is super thick. The guy working the front desk wouldn't let us start early even though there was no one teeing off within an hour before or after our scheduled tee time. He said because I booked on golf now I had to tee off at my scheduled time. I got there at 2:55 for a 3:15 tee. There were maybe 8 people total on the course and he wouldn't give me cart keys until my tee time. He was rude and disrespectful because I used this site to book my tee. Very unprofessional.

Fairways are very rough and bumpy. It's like hitting off of hard red clay dirt with no nice lies in the fairways.Golf carts are HORRIBLE. Saw several people complaining about them not starting. Check in staff if very unfriendly. Do not play if you want any type of respect. Booked tee time online and they argued with me on the time I booked. Had the print out with the time and date, but blamed it on Golf Now for the error. That is twice I booked on Golf Now at Choctaw and they blamed it on Golf Now. This is the only course that I've ever had this problem with. Would not play this unless you want a CHEAP round of golf. You get what you pay for!

Choctaw Creek is not an overly demanding course and some of the holes seem very close to others. The tee box ground was as hard as a rock on some holes. The main positive is the bend grass greens. They are the best I have played on in a long time! They roll true. If you miss a putt here, it is your fault. Nice overall experience and I will definitely play here again.

Course was good for a quick round in the early afternoon.

i have played this course several times and have been challenged each time. i did notice that the rough was very thick around the greens and on the edges of some of the fairways. i hope it was due to the unusually heavy rains recently. i do not think it always needs to be so tall & thick that it is difficult to find your ball at times.

The course is great right now. Absent of weeds. Bermuda is plush. Greens are rolling true. But really crowded with golfers roaming from hole to hole cutting in front.
