Choctaw Creek Golf Course

Overall excellent course to play. Not overly challenging, except for a couple of holes. Due to a freaky hot day in February and no cart person or water coolers filled made it a little hot to play. Normally the water is ice cold at each hole. Fun place to learn the game. You have some uphill holes and downhill holes also number 12 has a wicked right to left slant in fairway. Have played this course at least 2 dozen times in 3 years.

Baught fees online. Got a great pricce. Have played this course many times. Only real complaint was there was nothing to eat except snack food. Course is redoing some cart path spots. This course is challenging with the creek intertwining through the course. Makes ball placement a necessity.

Greens were like shag carpet. Sloow. Tee boxes were not level. If u miss the fairway, ur hitting off hard pan because they don't seed fescue under the trees. And there's a lot of trees. Which is fine if u have some kind of turf under them. They took out all the water jugs and no cart girl. If u like to get drunk and hit a ball this is the place for u. But if respect the game and play for love of the game, don't come here. It's an embarrassment. U would have to pay me to play there. The golf carts are all busted from the rough terrain and the paths are horrible as well. Won't be back.

I've golfed at the course several times in the past. It is an average golf course. The course itself seems to be maintained fairly well. If your a golfer that likes to get something to eat while golfing, this is not the place for you. They have a cooler for drinks and a few snacks. That's about it. The bathrooms were locked on the course also, so if you have to use the bathroom, you have to drive back to the club house, or hide behind a tree. They have plenty of trees to hide behind.

I went on a hot day so the ground was hard as a rock. The creek through the majority of the course cost me a lot of balls. If your like me and don't play often "beware." The only real problem I had was towards the end of the front 9. One hole is directly next to the driving range without any type of barrier. So range balls were everywhere on this hole. Even with watching where you land it can be hard to distinguish which ball is yours. Other than that it was a challenging course with a great feel and a fun cart path to drive :), thanks for reading. The service was horrible,. It hey tried to make me pay again. I had to prove I paid online. I didn't get to tee off on time it was 20 minutes later behind a group of 5.

Good course for the money, nice greens. Was hard to find the ball outside the fairway though.

Not too long, not many bunkers.

good course to work on your game there are several courses in the area I would rather play but it is pretty
easy to get on and is a decent course

Course was in great shape and the people were very friendly.

I was visiting the area on a business trip when I found them on Golf Now. I found the staff to be the friendliest and most helpful staff in a pro shop. I started playing as a single but paired up with someone simply because I prefer that. Even the man I paired with was friendly and a good golfer. The course was fun, had its challenging spots and had holes that you could score well on. I highly recommend playing here if you are in the area.

I booked a tee time on Golf Now. Some members showed up and were allowed to start at my tee time. When I finally was able to tee off, i was taking someone else's tee time. The course was crowded and pace of play was so slow that I left after 8 holes. The courses wasn't that great either, I won't be back

Nice layout and some good holes but was extremely firm as no irrigation on course. If would irrigate would be an excellent course. Got b hind slow slow goods that looked was first time to ever play but once was able to get around them flew threw back nine. With a little better upkeep have a solid course here

Golfer's play,very,very fast at this course. Nice place for experienced golfers, but not for amateurs.

Course in good shape. Greens were good. Didn't have a guy jump in front of us half way through the round and cut the greens this time.

Was forced to play with three strangers. This was the first time out of several uses of this booking process. The strangers turned out to be ok, but could just as easily have been jerks! Could be a factor in doing this again!!

The greens were very fast but also quite smooth and free of weeds. The rest of the course was bumpy and the surface was quite hard with a thin layer of grass where grass was to be found at all. The layout is quirky but could be fun with an effort to improve the fairways and first cut of rough. We played as a twosome and finished in a little more than three hours. The riding cart was in dire need of maintenance but did manage to get us around despite a balky brake.
To summarize, this course looks financially challenged but could be a fun track with an improvement in fairways and collars.

I play all over the state and must say Choctaw Creek has the best greens of any public course I have played! Not slow like they used to be. Full shots held the greens,wedge shots spun back great and chip shots would hop and stop! Every putt I made rolled true and fast.

Perfect place on game day. Nice and empty. Lots of bridges.

This is my 3rd or 4th time to play this course. As always, the staff is very friendly, the price was good and the course is in good shape! I will be coming back in the future for sure!
