Father son golf outing.
It was a good experience. (Any time of the links is a good time.) Just a little windy, about a half a club length most of the time, the course layout was fairly easy, of course if you in the fairway they are all easy. A few holes offered more challenge than others, fairly long par 3's for the average golfer, some water and strategically placed bunkers offered some shape shots. The greens were undulating, making single putts a challenge. Overall the course was in good shape. I'm sure we will play there again in the future.
I would pass on this course
The pace of play was slow, foursomes didn't let a twosome play through. The tee boxes and fairways were lacking grass, even for early spring, most of the greens were in good shape. Tons of tree limbs and branches were everywhere.
Beautiful course, nicely layed out ,Greens were well groomed, the overall course was challenging , but designed to be played by even a hack golfer. I will definitely tell my friends about Iran’s we will be back!!
Good course for the area
This is a goof course that challenges all of your game. If you play the blue tees it makes it a long course. Course has elevation changes, good hole lay outs and water hazards. Staff is friendly but caters to old timer locals. Only course in the Clarmore area. However, if you are in the Tulsa are,a this course would be at the bottom of my must play list.
Unhappy
Booked a tee time for 1, arrived early with my 5 year old who was really excited to ride along and watch. Was told I was paired with 3 other players which I couldn't do with my son with me. I had to pay an additional cart rental in order to have my son ride with me. They said all the golf now tee times pair you with other players, which isn't true, I book tee times for 1 all the time. Was unhappy the tee time price that was offered was not honored by the staff. Will not go back, this was the second time I played at Heritage Hills and second time I was treated rudely by the staff.
A good solid course
Has some challenges but also provides a fun course.
Surprisingly hilly
I was surprised to have a course this interesting in a flat area. Doglegs, changes of elevation but not drastic, tree lined fairways. I thought is was a course with great character, but not too much ... if that makes sense. Quirky without being annoying is another way to describe. Some bunkers but not too many. The staff was extremely friendly. The course was packed so I had to wait on holes more than I would like but somehow got done in 4 hours. The driving range was OK at best. At least it was elevated. But it was cheap! I live 6 hours away and am going to make it a destination.
This course has great features
Awesome course, it has a lot of character and nice greens and fairways.
Beautiful, very well maintained course
Played the course this first time in mid October. It features many mature trees, although little to no dead limbs are left as debris. The rough was not an abrupt wall of thicket. However, its out of boundaries can be unforgiving to ducking hooks and banana balls.
Many tree lined fairways and picturesque views from tees.
The seventh invites a player to shortcut its fairway, but only the most accurate will reap a reward.
Great getting back into the swing of the game course
If you haven't played for awhile this course will bring you up to speed again. With it's pin placement, and it's rolling fairways it will challenge you through all 18 holes.
The peacefulness of the wind blowing through the trees, and the serenity of the course will bring you back again to meet the challenges that the course has to offer.
Mature Course
great value - beware of the trees protecting the greens, really have to understand which side of fairway to play or a big one could be there blocking you
A good challenge
Most of the fairways are narrow, so if you're one to spray balls all over the place, you may not like this course. The par-3 holes are, for me, long iron shots, and there are several par-5 holes with greens located in guarded positions. Good course for working on play strategy.
excellent public course
this is a great public course its challenging and fun and very well kept.
A must play
I always enjoy playing here. The staff is always welcoming and super friendly. The course offers a good challenge and is always in great shape. Bunkers have been recently re-sanded and back on track with the rest of the course. Another challenging feature is the multiple placement of the various tee boxes which allows a different view and feel nearly each time you play. I always look forward to a round here.
