Diamond in the rough
Wouldn’t expect a muni in Claremore to be much and that’s why you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. This course layout was probably one of the best I’ve ever seen for a muni. Greens were in grade A shape. Lots of elevation change. Highly recommend.
Heritage Hills
Fun course, not hard to walk 18. Challenging but fair to us weekend warriors.
Didn’t get a Chance…
Miscommunications? My husband and I were set to play Heritage Hills on Monday, March 28, 2022 while on vacation. On the 27th we called the course to ensure carts would be allowed on the course, my husband has medical issues so it’s important for us - a young woman at the course said yes they were all allowed all over the course, not just 90degrees.. Something apparently changed overnight as no carts were allowed anywhere but the rough by the time we arrived to check in at the pro shop - they said chemicals were sprayed on the course in advance of a big storm coming in the following day. Bottom line, no carts allowed ..not even 90 degree…so we couldn’t golf, and since we went thru Golfnow, the pro shop pro said he would call Golfnow to get us a credit. 2 weeks later, nothing on credit card, so Golfnow called the course and they seem to have forgotten any of this took place. Hmmm. Unfortunate that the course got paid even though we did not golf. Golfnow credited our account so ended up Golfnow did not get paid for anything that they did wrong. Suggestion, maybe leave Heritage Hills in Claremore, OK off your courses to play just for their lack of honesty (or was it just memory loss?) but thank goodness for Golf now…they were outstanding.
Heritage Hills
Fun course to play, easy 18 to walk. Some of the best Bunkers for a muni. Course. I'll be back.
Heritage Hills
Fun golf course to play. Worth the drive from owasso. Look forward to playing again.
Good Course close to Tulsa
Great condition for the winter and greens were fairly soft considering time of year. Morning staff guy wasn’t all that friendly but the afternoon guy was pleasant and willing to help with anything needed.
Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.
The course was fun had a couple of temporary holes but they gave us a discounted rate so it wasn’t bad but the course could definitely use a better pro shop all they had to eat was chips and candy bars but overallPretty good experience
Disappointed
The front 9 was closed for maintenance. If I had known this l would not have played there today. Other courses are much less expensive when maintenance is being done.
Good value
The course, like all the others in the area is recovering from the harsh winter. Overall, it was in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways were really nice. Some of the greens has damage. The staff was friendly. I went out on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't very many on the course, so the pace was nice. Not a lot of waiting, and no one behind me to rush things. It was a bit out of the way, so the drive to get there was probably the worst part of the day. I will go back.
Golf
When I went to the course the person charged me more the golf now said on email and app
Recently renovated
Fairways were in good shape but 7 or 8 greens had 25-30% dead grass...greens need more attention....
