Terrible shape
It was my first time playing at Heritage Hills and my last. Everything was fairly normal until we drove down the cart path to find my ball in the fairway. The entire course had been aerated and they didn’t mention that in the clubhouse. The greens were sopping wet and had plenty of dead spots.
HeritageHills
The greens were kind of tough. Bermada greens didn't roll that true
Heritage Hills- Claremore, OK
Course was fair compared to other local course with the NE Oklahoma area. Tee Boxes are very poor. The time of the season may be the reason but most boxes were dirt only. Fairways were spotty, and the greens were rolling very nice. This course would be great to play in the spring or fall.
Greens in excellent shape!
It was pretty cold out there and was the first one off in the morning. The greens were impeccable shape and were receptive, which was surprising considering temps being in the low-mid 30s. Will definitely be back!
Sad
I played this course several times a few years ago - prior to COVID and it was in excelleent condition and we enjoyed it enough to drive an hour to get there. So, it was so sad to see that the course was not anywhere near the level of course I remembered. I brought two visitors from San Diego to play the course and we were all very disappointed.
Great Course
I don’t know where the other reviewer played but the. Ourse was lush and the greens were true. Friendly members I got paired with. 18 holes not 9 great deal for the money
Burnt up course
Course was very dry and hard. Doesn’t seem that fairways were watered much in this hot summer. Greens had a lot of issues with burnt areas. Frequently we were putting over dirt. Staff not very friendly upon arrival and checking in. Course has a fantastic layout and topography but needs more love. Have been here before, but this was a different experience.
Horrible
Extremely disappointed, course was in terrible shape and they're about 1 week away from losing 75% of their greens. Needed a hammer to stick a tee in the ground.
I'd made an 11:20 tee time, but they had no starter or marshal. People were just teeing off and playing whenever they liked. Had a twosome then a single in front of us, then somehow when we made the turn there was another single by himself in front of us. I quit after 11 holes. I went in and talked with the only person on staff about my disappointment and the pace of play with all the singles and doubles on the course and his comment was that some of the members just think they can do whatever and lots of people just show up on the backside out of nowhere. Never again, poorly managed and poorly run.
Water NEDED ASAP
First let me say that I love this course and play it often due to being close to home. Tee boxes hard as a rock and fairways arent much better. They've had new greens put in a couple times in the past few years, and now these are turning yellow and are VERY dry. This course has the potential to be one of the best in NE Oklahoma. Sad to see being it has GREAT potential.
