Quail Ridge Golf Course

The course is a bit worn. It is sometimes difficult to determine where the next hole is located. Greens were in reasonable shape. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Used this course as a warm up round.

The course is not bad to play at, it can be slow at some points with the big groups on the course. The fairways are hard and bare in some spots on the course, and two ball washers that never seem to work. In my opinion i would spend the extra 20 to 40 dollars and play the other courses around. They are much nicer and barely cost more to play, quail ridge is overpriced for the quality you get.

This course was bought by a couple younger guys who live in the area five years ago and they’ve been working hard to bring it back to life. I did some research and came in with the right expectations about the condition of the course, so no surprises for me. This is where you take your buddies (or kids in my case) who have never established a handicap, but if they had one, it would be north of 30. We were more concerned about the beer than the greens, so it was the perfect spot for the day.

A nice course. It’s not overloaded with obstacles, just a creek that runs across the course, some strategically placed trees, a few bunkers, and one hill. It was a wet day. I was the only golfer on the coarse. So if the pace was slow, it was my fault. I do plan on playing the course again.
