New Golf Carts...!
Great staff, awesome sandwiches, nice greens and the fairways can be a little rough. They are currently working on upgrades to cart paths, so #5's a little jacked up for the time being. You can still play it but you just have to work your way around to it. For the price, it's a fun course with nice scenery and cOld beer!
Greens
Greens look good new carts fairways need help and tee boxes but course is looking better this year
Decent
Nothing going to wow you here, but the greens putt true. It's a fun course to play for a decent price.
Poor service, terrible coarse
Everything started with a call from the coarse within a couple of hours of booking on golfnow.com. They said that there had been an error and that there was a tournament scheduled that day. They wanted to honor the booking, but asked to move it up so as to be finished by tournament time. Ok, not a problem. However, upon arrival the guy in the clubhouse was less than friendly and it was clear they didn't want us there. We went ahead and played. Honestly, between the weeds and dirt it was almost impossible to tell where the fairway was compared to the rough. There was construction in the middle of the course. One hole was pretty much entirely dirt. At the turn I attempted to get something to drink at the clubhouse as there was no water on the course. It was cash only and all I had was plastic. We continued to the 10th. On around the 13th hole the woman from the snack counter in the clubhouse drove by with a cooler of what appeared to be water. It felt as if she was teasing me at that point, because she kept going and didn't even think to ask if I would like some water. To summarize, the course is in terrible shape, the club house is old and dank and doesn't take plastic for snacks, and the people working there were provided lousy service.
Not a good course
Fairways were awful had a lot of patches of dirt areas. Cart paths were rough the greens a tons of rough patches overall not a good course at all.
Challenging course for most golfers
The course is challenging when there are a lot of golfers playing on the course at the time as I was. There is plenty of water near the fairways. If you can't hit it straight? You will need to use another ball. I lost a few balls. Plenty of wildlife around the ponds. You have concentrate on your golf game and nobody else's game.
poor fairways
Love the course and the staff, but fairways are horrible. You have to hit off hard ground and dirt almost everywhere on the course, greens aren't to bad tho.
Winterized greens
The greens were terrible had sand all over them so putting was impossible
Sapulpa
For January can't complain was in decent shape will be better in spring
Not spread out enough
The course wasn't in bad condition considering it was November when I played. The only thing I didn't like about the course is that the holes aren't spread out enough. There are several holes where the greens are on top of either other greens, or tee boxes. The pace would be quicker if you didn't have to wait for golfers on holes that aren't even after the one your'e on.
The course is narrow and requires understanding where u need to be.
The tee boxes are uneven and the fairways are sparse. The greens, however, are in good shape but hard to read. Again, it's best to play with someone who has played here before otherwise there are several holes where you will not know where you are going. It's difficult to know what to hit when you don't know where you are aiming!
Cart failure
I was only able to complete 13 of 18 holes before cart failed.
Very playable course and great value
Very low cost to play here and the course is very forgiving on most of the holes.
great obstacles and friendly staff
2nd time playing at this location. Was not able to finish 9 holes due rain....staff invited me back on another to try and complete my game...
Very fun course for a challenge and great price.
Challenges for new golfers and pros. Highly recommended course.
Great grass on the greens
The only thing that was weird was that there wasnt one bunker on the whole course
Good if your just out to enjoy the day...
Took the wife out and enjoyed the day. 2 people with a cart for $30... can't beat it.
No More Wednesdays
Although the course was in good condition the play time was horrible. On Wednesdays the course gamblers show up.
After followings a group of 5 players for 4-1/2 hours, we quit on the 12th hole and went home.
DON'T PLAY ON WEDNESDAYS UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WAIT ON THESE DISCOURTEOUS PLAYERS.
the course needs work
First time there and not impressed. Hard to tell which fairway to hit to or where it's at. Distances on card conflict with what's on markers. Just a very below average poorly maintained city course.
Nice people....course needs water
Took two 11 year old golfers out with me today. I really liked the way staff treated the boys. A lot of golf courses aren't freindly to young golfers, but this one is. We have had some dry weather last few weeks and this course is in desperate need of water. Fairways are very dry and I hit off hardpan dirt several times.
