Great Round
Great round. Would love if they would let riders share a cart for $20 total instead of a single rider policy
The starter needs to be a starter
My son and I had a 4:24 starting time. We checked in with the starter, went to the driving range, and worked our way back to the first hole at around 4:15. The first hole was empty, we stopped to get a scorecard, and were shocked to see two men teeing off in front of us. We found the starter who said that they had a 4:36 starting time, never checked in with him, and ditched us. IMO he should have kicked them off the course for that and have been more present near the first hole (He had walked away). WE waited for them on every single hole but for the ninth. They were older men who played poorly and dropped balls all over the place to take extra shots. The course needs to have better supervision. It ruined the round for us.

The only issue is the cost of a cart went up.
we paid 15 each (with our own cart) previously and yesterday we paid 20 and needed to share

Nice Long Island Golf Course
Cherry Creek Golf Links in Riverhead was an enjoyable golf course. They have a great driving range where you hit off of grass rather than artificial mats. The tee boxes, fairways & greens were in very good condition. The greens are cut at a very nice speed (not too slow, not too fast). Although, I am not a fan of their 18th hole because it is a Par 6 (should be a Par 5), I would definitely recommend this golf course.

Course layout
I enjoy the Links at Cherry Creek everyone I play it. The round does not get bogged down because of overbooking and the array of yardage is excellent

Starter in charge was A ok Had our 4 sum ready to go 15 minutes early. All in all Pace was ok waiting a few minutes on each hole to t off.

I have played this course many times.
I have never seen the Tee Boxes in such a state of disrepair. Everything else was up to par

Great Value Course
Second year in a row my friends and I have played this course. Great set up and friendly staff. Pace of play was a little slow on this occasion but we were able to play through to keep to the 2 hour 40 minute pace.
Open fairways but course set up and longer holes from the blue tees create a good challenge for intermediate golfers.

Cherry Creek Links
Good pace of play. Fairways and tee boxes great shape.
Greens were very very bumpy. We were a morning tee time and they felt like they haven’t been rolled in over a week. Nothing was smooth, slow,slow greens.
