About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

really nice courae
the fairway is really soft and condition of green is great. Like a picnic, I played a game with joy.
Spring is coming
The greens were in great condition and the fairways were in good shape considering the time of year. Pace of play, even with frost delay was good.

Great Winter Condition
The course is a bit spongy but in great condition for the middle of February. It is still walkable, but bring extra towels for cleaning your clubs and balls.

Fall Golf
Course was in amazing condition considering that it is the end of October. Greens are still recovering from aerification but still rolling nicely. Great walking course.

Expect Slow play, no marshall or starter
Drove out from Vancouver to give OCGC a try. Staff was friendly when we checked in for our 10:15 tee time. The course was in good shape, greens were quick and well maintained for Oct. As we expected the course does good business and the front was a bit slow. Then things got slower. At hole 10 we arrived to not only find the 3some we were playing behind waiting to hit, there was a new 4 some going off the back in front of all of us. The new group did allow the 3 some through but there was no way were going to spend 3 plus hours playing the back. We asked if we could play the front 9 again and they allowed us to. No marshalls or starters present. To recap the course was in decent shape, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Just plan to hit and wait a bit.

Great Experience
This was the first time my wife and I played the course.
Even tho it was late in the golf season, the course was in great shape. Greens ran true and relatively fast. Carts were allowed on the course, which my old knees appreciated.
Staff was great!

"Great Course"
I've played this course 2-3 times per week for the last 20 plus years! They have maintained this course daily, making its condition very playable. I see this course as a "hidden treasure" for play. It's not a push over, especially with the tree lined fairways. You must keep the ball in the fairway! The grounds crew are to be commended, right along with the pro shop staff. Its a great team, and they are very responsive to play and players. I highly recommend you play this course! You will not be disappointed. They have very competitive rates!

Nice public course
Great, polite staff. Easy start and was never rushed nor were we waiting behind anyone although the course was fairly well booked up. Tee boxes and greens appeared to have been a little overwatered, although that may have been because we were among the first groups off. We'll be back for sure.

Poor Staff Attitude, Favorite Local Muni, too bad
This course has always been one of my favorite warm up/go to public courses for fun. The course was wide open on a Monday afternoon and my girlfriend and I booked a 4:15 deal with cart. We had the person who worked in the bar driving out to hole 6 to check on our pace of play and pressured us to speed up and argued with us as to what time we feed off . At the turn, we had another employee tell us that they needed the cart back by 8:35. This was my girlfriends very first time playing and no one was in front or behind us the entire round. We ended up finishing at 8:12pm with a 4pm tee off time, 4hrs, 12 mins. Not bad considering we had a brand new golfer, very disappointed in the staff service.
