Oregon City Golf Club
About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

big fun
Course played forgiving, with lots of roll.
greens are in great shape, fairways not soggy.
Leaves were picked up so no lost balls under the trees. I like the course because it, for the most part, has no homes or civilization visible while playing. Very woodsy. Also it is not long, with forced carries, water and lots of sand, so for the most part you can score and feel good about your game. Who doesn't like that?
Fall golf
The course was in good condition, the greens had a few conditions challenges but over all the playing time was well spent.
Bad timing.
Plugged greens. Not filled with sand. Very tough to putt. Dry short rough with extra roll. Wish I could play when greens are normal. Nice municipal course.
Oregon City GC
We were greeted at the Pro Shop by a very friendly staff member. He explained the location of #1 and #10 tee boxes, the location of the range, a brief description of iron use only and that no announcement of tee time starting, so we could tee off when we were ready. The course was not real busy so pace of play was excellent! Course condition was excellent. Greens were smooth and in great shape. Course was challenging yet playable for all skill levels. Course is walkable but we used an electric cart. I would recommend Oregon City GC when visiting the Portland area.
Don't miss playing this golf course.
Just as a reviewer noted, this beautiful golf course with immaculate greens does have "firm" pitch and chip shots. If you hit the fairways, you'll love this golf course. If you stray into the rough, especially around the greens, you will find pitching and chipping a challenge.
Course is not in great shape.
The layout of the course is fine, the price is good on a hot deal, but I was tired of hitting off of hard, compacted dirt anytime I was anywhere other than the green. Parts of the fairway are dead grass and others are like hitting off of concrete. Showed up on time for tee time, roughly 10 players waiting at the tee box to tee off with no starter in sight. Luckily, we got permission to tee off the 10th, because we would have been out the entire day. Just meh overall.
awesome
I played with my friend , and we all think the course is very nice , price is reasonable, and staff is very friendly .
good round
have not played this course in a long time, but it is still a fun course. challenging, but not extra difficult either. we had a good time.
Oregon City golf course
First time to play this course and I really liked it. Pace of play was great. We finished 18 holes in 4 hours walking. Staff drove out ice water 2 times for players because of the heat. Nice shade available from trees along the course. Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways are narrow. Overall a great way to spend the day on a pretty course with wonderful staff and a mellow atmosphere.
Summer time golf
Fabulous day and very few people on the course. Once the a couple of singles worked their way through the day and pace was perfect!
Fun morning of golf
I plated with a threesome in carts while I walked. It was fun, and since I haven't been playing much this year, it was somewhat challenging. All in all, it was a fun morning.
dry fairways
The course is stressed.Dry fairways needs water but its to late new damage is already done.
Difficult to find balls!
The grasses are brown. Any colored balls are hard to be found. I probably won’t go there anymore.
Great condition
Course played great, greens were in good condition and fairways had plenty of roll. Always a fun time on this course.
