Oregon City Golf Club
About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Course is not in great shape.
The layout of the course is fine, the price is good on a hot deal, but I was tired of hitting off of hard, compacted dirt anytime I was anywhere other than the green. Parts of the fairway are dead grass and others are like hitting off of concrete. Showed up on time for tee time, roughly 10 players waiting at the tee box to tee off with no starter in sight. Luckily, we got permission to tee off the 10th, because we would have been out the entire day. Just meh overall.
awesome
I played with my friend , and we all think the course is very nice , price is reasonable, and staff is very friendly .
good round
have not played this course in a long time, but it is still a fun course. challenging, but not extra difficult either. we had a good time.
Oregon City golf course
First time to play this course and I really liked it. Pace of play was great. We finished 18 holes in 4 hours walking. Staff drove out ice water 2 times for players because of the heat. Nice shade available from trees along the course. Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways are narrow. Overall a great way to spend the day on a pretty course with wonderful staff and a mellow atmosphere.
Summer time golf
Fabulous day and very few people on the course. Once the a couple of singles worked their way through the day and pace was perfect!
Fun morning of golf
I plated with a threesome in carts while I walked. It was fun, and since I haven't been playing much this year, it was somewhat challenging. All in all, it was a fun morning.
dry fairways
The course is stressed.Dry fairways needs water but its to late new damage is already done.
Difficult to find balls!
The grasses are brown. Any colored balls are hard to be found. I probably won’t go there anymore.
Great condition
Course played great, greens were in good condition and fairways had plenty of roll. Always a fun time on this course.
Nice course, a bit tight of a layout.
Great course with consistent fast greens and good mowing.
A bit tight fitting 18 holes in the acreage provided hence the 5400 yards from the whites.
Keep your head on a swivel. Lots of holes without much room mean FOR!
Challenging but fair
Very nice course with a variety of options. Condition was great, greens rolled nice, but would not hold a shot with amateur spin. Course knowledge essential. Walked the course with 3 other first timers, but all had a great time.
Pretty course in great condition.
Very friendly staff, challenging and fun course, which was very pretty and also in great condition. Excellent price.
Fun course to play!
Lots of trees and trouble in the common misses, and the tree branches are pretty low to the ground, so it's best to take your medicine. Greens were rather slow, but in decent shape. And fairways had plenty of roll. Plenty of doglegs, so you need to place and shape lots of shots. Super fun course, will definitely be back!
Great Course!
This course is a "sleeper gem". The course is maintained very well . The owners and staff in the pro shop/snack bar are very customer friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this course for playing!
Greens were Very spongy. Fairways were full of weeds with white flowers making it hard to see the ball in the fairway. Not a winter or early spring course. I will try the course again in the summer.
Always a challenging course......
Especially when it's very wet, though drainage is decent similar to Stonecreek Golf Course not to far away. Grounds are very well kept throughout the year.
Always very Friendly and helpful the staff at O.C.G.
is great and will work with you to have an awesome
round.
As an avid northwestern year-around golfer O.C.G. is
a nearby fave for a quick practice round surrounded by trees tucked into the east-side hills that always tends to challenge your game.

A little disappointed
Normally, this time of year, I would expect the course to be a little soft from rain. I did find the fairways to be fairly solid, with some roll.
I was able to easily walk for 18 holes, with very little mud accumulating on my shoes.
Where I was disappointed was on the conditions of the greens and approaches.
On all of the greens, they felt like walking on a sponge. You could literally see foot print depressions in the green, and any chance of a pitch and run were negated by the fact that the approaches were soo soft. On one 160 yard par 3, I hit a 6 iron, and the ball plugged on the green. Half of the ball was below the surface of the green.
Oh well, lesson learned
