Oregon City Golf Club

About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Old Faithful
I like to return here with friends to experience the quiet countryside, open fairways and smooth The greens were slower than last time but I think it’s all the watering needed to maintain.
I’ll be back!
Fun course
Fun course, not to many people so pace is fast, greens are 4/5 in most areas some are 3-5
Summer has arrived
Some diseased grassy areas on the greens, but otherwise still rolling out and smooth. Everything about this place is amazing, the pace was better than most and the overall course conditions are very good.
Lack of Golf Carts
Had a tee time for 7am and there was no cart available. Have to reserve one with your round. Finished 9 holes and there still was a bunch of golf carts sitting there. Good value on golf but a little lacking on some things. Limited practice facilities. Range for irons with range mats that are well worn past the life expectancy.
Surprisingly Great Shape
I looked at reviews and saw a lot of negative ones saying it was in bad shape but when we played today it was fantastic!
Too bad
We have to call in to reserve a cart, can't do it online. Front desk staff did manage to find a 2nd one for our 3rd and 4th golfer. They were SUPER nice. Tee boxes were in HORRIBLE shape, LOTS of divots, and no sand on the carts to repair divots. Greens were spongy/bouncy and slow. Trees on side of fairway seemed to have branches that hung out into the fairway too far, IMHO. No drink cart coming around. No drivers on driving range. Seemed super busy with golfers from other holes on our fairway on many holes, although it was Saturday. Our round was 5 hours...Oof! Cleaned up, and add a drink cart, and get more power carts, and it'd be better.
The Greens
The fairways are in nice condition, there is sand in the traps but the greens are so bumpy!
Not sure how to resolve this, one guy said rolling them would make the difference but they were difficult on long or short putts.
Still a beautiful place to enjoy a round of golf!
I will be back and look forward to see how they fixed or if the greens issue was addressed.
Great place to play.
I like playing rounds here. A nice and relaxing course. Very walkable and enjoyable.
Great time had by all
Once again a beautiful day to play OC…. The fairways are a pleasure to hit and banging in pars is nice too
Very open course minimum difficulty
The pace was amazing. I played about 0740 and got done about 3 hours. I’ll say minimum difficulty level
Fair and at times challenging
I like the course as it weaves around with dog legs and elevation changes. 3 holes are very difficult to par if your drive is less than 250 yards. (2,5, 15)
There are many par opportunities for short hitters like me.
One of my favorite courses.
