Oregon City Golf Club
About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

A bad day on the course trumps any good day at work. Photo submitted by u268790960 on 03/23/2022

Almost a hole in one! Photo submitted by burrellpalmer on 04/20/2020
Great staff. Tee boxrs and greens need some help.
Great track, poor maintenance
Please, someone buy this course and throw money at it. This is a good challenging track with zero money put into the tee boxes, fairways and greens. Needs work!
Totally Soggy
The course has terrible drainage. Everything was super soggy. The greens were mushy under your feet. Things were not maintained well.
This was a bummer because I played there before during the summer and enjoyed the course. It’s a fun layout.
Frozen
Called to see if there was a frost delay. No frost delay, but it was frozen . Hit the green and your ball launched 50’ in the air. Greens were frozen and very bumpy from footprints prior to them freezing. You have to reserve a cart if you want one prior to showing up. Evidently they don’t have enough carts to just walk on and get a cart. Normally it’s a decent course in better weather but not today in January. Just nice to get out I guess
Love it
Great course very well maintained fast green great prices can’t wait to go back
Thank you
Greens was nice
Peace of play was amazing. Stay on the fairway and you’re golden. Hazards are very minimum. Nothing negative to say will be playing this course more next season.
Highly recommend
Nothing negative to say about this course. Greens was fast at the start of the morning. Pace was great and the conditions were as well.
Average price for an average course
Decent course, not very exciting but you gotta love a nice 135yd par 3 sunken below the tee box. Kinda scary when you were so close to groups with a green right next to the tee box.
Greens were spongy and shaggy, tee boxes were pretty rough as well - mostly as they were not very level.
Enjoy the time there.
I like the convenience and also the opportunity.Do not be rushed when i'm playing
Good Practice
OCGC is a great spot to get some swing practice in. Good availability, plays simply and has some nicely shaped holes. Could have a few more challenges and greens could be a bit firmer.
