Nice place for a fall round
Challenging course with nice mix of holes. Very friendly staff. Play here often with my wife and/or daughter. Recommend it highly. You won't be disappointed.
Love playing here but...
Great time playing here always however first few holes sprinklers were still on and made the greens a pond. Dried out by back 9 enough to putt. That's only complaint is to pay full rate for greens that kick up massive rooster tails.
This is a great course
This is a great course and its a challenging course to the average golfer. We always play here as the course is well kept and the staff is very friendly.

Nice little course
The greens were very good. The fairways were mostly good, though there was some fall animal damage in a few places.
The course has some very easy holes and some very challenging, long ones. There are two 225-yard par 3s, a 550 yard uphill monster par 5, but also several 260-300 yard par 4s.

Greens are great.
All 18 greens were in great shape. Some golfers still need to learn to repair their ball marks. Fairways and roughs were well maintained. Sand bunkers need some more good sand. The layout was atypical. Several par 4s were less than 300 yds matched by an equal number over 400yds. Most par 3s were over 200yds and this is from the White tees.
Nice course
Hiland Golf Course is a very well maintained course. The staff is friendly. This was our first time booking through GolfNow and we had no problems with either booking on line or with our reservations at the course. Will definitely book this course again. A very good experience.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast with very subtle reads. Listed yardages did not match my GPS. Fairways had some wet spots.
Played here for user 40 yrs
I always enjoy playing here , The greens are always some of the best around ,the fairways too. They keep the rough mowed jow ,which I think is a good idea on a public course,no lost time looking for balls. HiLand has a nice mix of easier and challenging holes. My only complaint is the par threes are too long, Great value on GolfNow
Nice course in East Butler, PA
A very nice course with a beautiful layout located in East Butler, a few minutes off of Route 422. Well-manicured with a few sand traps. Two very long, challenging par-5 which are a couple of the course's best holes. The clubhouse/bar staff go out of their way to make the customers feel at home. Prices for playing and refreshments are very reasonable.
Better than I remember
Hadn't played this course in several years, appears to be in much better shape overall. Well maintained and a fun day.
We were pleasantly surprised.
The course was in great shape. Some holes are very challenging, especially the par 3 15th. A nice variety of lengths of holes. A few blind shots and holes. Overall very enjoyable course.
incredibly sloooow!
Quit after 13 holes, which took 4 hours to complete. 2 rangers on the course, and could not get it moving. Group behind us quit after 12 holes. It was a Sunday morning, but not that busy. Inexcuseable

Exc maintenance!! Exc Staff!! Course conditions excell at all times. The ambience wants you to come back again tomorrow.

A true hidden treasure
Great value for the money! Staff very friendly and accommodating. All though course was very wet from recent heavy rains, it was in great shape. Greens putted true. This will be one of my favorite course to play and I will look forward to playing this as often a possible.
decent round for the money
Little surprised this course is rated so highly. Fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape, but greens were the biggest drawback, which is a little disappointing this time of year. Also some very odd, even stupid holes with trees between tee boxes and fairway and in front of greens. Overall decent value but don't drive more than 30 minutes to play.
Excellent course for seniors.
Course is always in great condition. Very friendly staff. Great cheeseburgers.
