Reviews
DuBois Country Club - 10082022
This past weekend, I accompanied my wife who took a CE class near DuBois, PA -- roughly a 3 hour drive from my home.
I decided to play golf and looked for a deal on TeeOff. I found a good one at DuBois CC.
However, on that day, they were having an impromptu club tournament. Evidently, the tournament had to be cancelled several times and I happened to play on the unlucky day that the tournament actually took place. Each group had two three-man teams (6 in each group) playing a scramble.
It took me more than 3 hours to play the front. Mercifully, the matches must have been decided after 13 and I cruised through the rest of the holes as a single.
Nonetheless, it still took roughly 5 hours to play. Had they not decided the matches after hole 13, it would have been a 6-hour round. Not acceptable and it was painful to wait a long time on each hole.
I would have appreciated a notification and refund from the golf course to I could have made other arrangements as there were other courses in the area with open tee times.
Dubois CC
Course has improved and is maintained well. Very reasonable rates and friendly staff. Good time, great value.
Nice well maintained course
I’ve always liked this course because I consider it a real golf course. Many holes require mid-longer irons into the greens as opposed to many local courses that are wedges in. Course is tight in places also. Good fun course
A great course
My wife and I took a quick vacation to DuBois and found this course. I’m a high 80’s-low 90’s. My wife mid 90’s to 100. Our vacations always involve golf. If you’re in the area the course is well worth a look. Great staff, great layout but this is not an easy course……..but really challenging and fun.
Great course for the money
The course was nice, but needed mowing in the fairways and greens, overall really nice layout, a lot of uphill shots.
Course is in great shape
enjoyed playing here would have liked a quick turnaround lunch like a hotdog and not what they were offering!
