Rich Maiden Golf Course

We had to wait before almost every shot, sometimes for several minutes. However, the course was in good shape and the was enjoyable to play.

My experience with the staff and owner at this golf course was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional, rude and arrogant. That alone is enough to say I would not recommend this course or will every play it again. Not to mention they complained and degraded "Golf Now" and in the owners own words he said " Golf Now is not our friends and we don't like them"

As far as the course itself it is very short and the greens are hard to hold. The courses condition is average compared to nearby local courses. The course is so short that play was backed up on almost every hole because several par 4's and most par 5's are reachable on the drive or in 2.

Play this course 10 to 12 times per year, always in good condition, grreens are small and sloped making them somewhat difficult to read. Bunkers were in good condition.

Rich Maiden has been around forever. It's not long but greens can be tough if you are above the hole. Play is almost always fast. My wife and I finished in 3 hours, though we teed off just before noon on Easter.

It is not a long course. It gives a moderately challenging opportunity and a place to work on your game. A very enjoyable day. The greens were surprisingly quick and in good shape.

I played on a weekday about noon, pace was about 2 hours and I got a great rate on Golf Now. Course was in excellent condition.

not the longest course around but very nice. Not overly narrow fairways. Very enjoyable.

The course was in good condition even after a day of heavy rains. Greens were nice and rolled smoothly, though a little slow as a result of the heavy rain.

One precaution, the course is on the short side even from blue tees. I was happy with my experience but would likely not have played there if I had realized the length of the course.

It's been a few years since I last played Rich Maiden after moving an hour away. Played with my son, usually we can get around a course in under 3 hours. Took us 4 1/2 hours...pace of play was awful. Groups in front of us was very slow, not interested in allowing us to play through. Our choice was an argument, or hope for a ranger...no ranger! The conditions were great, course in great shape, it's a shame we had a nice day spoiled. Need to do a better job managing the entire course...won't return anytime soon.

This is a great course to play - especially for the price. The course was in great shape, even better than other courses that I have played that charged a lot more to play. Tee boxes and greens were in great shape. The riding carts are getting a little worn, but it did the job. You really can't go wrong playing here and it will challenge you.

This course would be a great deal for the money if only they would keep the pace of play moving. The course is not extremely challenging, but the greens were in nice shape as were the fairways. The golf carts leave much to be desired, but they got the job done. The gentleman in the proshop was as friendly and nice as could be. My only true complaint is the pace of play. There should be signs letting golfers who are not familiar with course etiquette know to let faster players through. My son and I waited painfully as we watched a group of three ladies top the ball 50 yards at a time down way too many fairways. To add insult to injury, they sat there talking at each green after they had finished and while I was standing at the tee box waiting to swing. Anyone who has been there knows how that can just ruin a round of golf. I'll give the ladies the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn't know better, but groups like that need to be told to let others play through. Eventually, I just drove around them and made the hole up later. The disapproving scowls on their faces told me they had no clue why I was driving past them down their fairway. If this were the only group like this, I would just chalk it up to bad luck, but two holes later we wound in in the same predicament, and again the group never offered to let us play through. My recommendation would be for the course to add signs either on the carts themselves or around the course so people know not to make a round of golf take 6 hours for everyone behind you. I really wanted to give a better rating, but I just couldn't with how frustrated I was after waiting so much.

This course is great for any level. Would definitely golf again.

Labor Day Holiday, Here`s a course that got it right.
They did not JACK up the price because it was a holiday, 25 BUCKS HOLIDAY RATE.... Oh Ya I`ll play here again, For sure..........................
