Golden Oaks Golf Club

I'd would call ahead because they could be cutting the grass during play hours. For the first 7 holes they were cutting the grass. Greens were the fast almost unplayable. I'd pass on this course for the money. Dishonest golfers play this course steal your balls and clubs.

The course was beautiful, well taken care of. Even as a beginner I had tons of fun! Will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful course - This is a is a man’s course. Must be able to keep it straight- beautiful old pines line both sides of the course. The holes that have water force you to man up!

A recommend this course for those that can really play the game.

Bring all your clubs and thi king cap. This course is amazing and makes you play thinking man's golf ⛳️

Love the course and conditions were good for an August with so little rain, but the aerated greens were not fully healed yet so putting conditions were not great.

But always a fun course to play.

Played Golden Oaks with a friend. He’s a 10 is handicap and I’m a 2.3 index. Course is in good condition with well Maintained bent grass greens and bent poa fairways. There had been a heavy rain the night before and most of the bunkers were washed out as one would expect.

It’s a challenging well designed layout and I’d play it again without hesitation.

Maybe I missed when booking, but upon arrival, greens were just aerated, and to top that we were informed the back 9 was closed. Played front 9 twice. If I would have known, I would have booked someplace else, especially with an hour and 20 minute drive.

Booked Hot Deal. When we arrived at the course we were informed greens had just been aerated and the back 9 was completely closed for maintenance. Obviously we weren’t happy and complained to the Pro shop attendant. He then showed us the information was posted on their website and was given to GolfNow. He informed us this happens regularly with GolfNow not passing information along to its customers. I know four customers that won’t be renewing

The only thing I can complain about is the sand traps. They were like concrete and most were filled with water. Overall the course was very good.

Golden Oaks is a fun layout. Challenging but not super hard as the course rating and slope indicate. Greens are medium speed bent grass and in good shape while fairways and tees are a bent poa mix and in good shape. There is no issue playing the ball down. I’d certainly go back.

Such a beautiful track at Golden Oaks. The staff is also very friendly.

It was very wet today but they had a ton of rain yesterday so it was cart path only. Can’t do much about that

An enjoyable round. The greens are large and the ball rolls well. The layout can challenge but is still fun to play.

Greens rolled great. Course overall in Very good shape. Ten minutes between tee times really helps pace of play.
