Good Value, and not as easy as you think
Most people who live within a half-hour of this course will describe it to you as easy.
It's a short and old-school design, but you can also make bad numbers easily if you short short-side yourself around its raised, inverted-cereal bowl, postage stamp greens.
Course was in excellent shape on this day and greens rolled true. The starters were super-relaxed and didn't force or police the pairing of strays and strangers, but I paired up with twosome because that was the right thing to do for the pace of play.
Our group of three played behind a foursome on the first day of a holiday weekend, and we rarely waited for them at all. We finished our round in roughly 3.5 hours which was less than I'd expected, so I'd call pace-of-play very good.
PACE OF PLAY
I was not happy with our golf experience on Monday, May 12th, 2025. Was looking forward to a relaxing day playing golf and then we were teamed up with another couple that were pretty new at golfing, which slowed the pace of golf and forced us to have to leave early and not even get to finish 18 holes. Very disappointing! We only finished 15 holes after over 4 hours of golf! Started at 1 and had to quit at 5:05 because we had to be somewhere for 5:30.
Play every Thursday
If I am given a choice wear to play I always mention Rich Maiden.
Eh….
Seem kind of unorganized as there was no starter to be found. When I went in to inquire if they had one, the guy working the desk said “he’s usually out there”.
Course was fun.
tough greens and well kept
The course is well groomed. the greens are not easy. I don't think they like putters. (lol) I like the course. The staff is friendly and a nice place to play. Wide open fairways even for the beginner golfer. Definitely going back
Rates
I booked the round for $29 on Golfnow, only to be told that the rate was $50 because it was the first day of summer rates. So I had to pay $21 more than what I booked for, plus the$ 10 convenience fee because prices weren't updated. Shouldn't the booked rate be honored, apparently not at this course
