Nice outing
Two negatives - bugs! not enough signs to get you to the next tee-box.
Positives - very nice staff, for a 20hcp it is moderately challenging which is good. Greens were fast and holes seemed to be in league play locations which was again challenging. Fairways were in good condition as were the greens. Bunkers were hard from the rains.
Horrible course
This course was not what we expected for a club. Greens were awful, the one cup was the size of a softball. We had a tee time that was delayed by 45 minutes. Restroom was filthy. Would not go back to this course.
Poor
We had to wait an extra 40 minutes past our 2:20 tee time. There was a scramble that we weren’t told about.
There are no level greens, everything is sloped.
Bathrooms were dirty. The layout on cards were not properly marked with the hazards. For a country club, was extremely disappointing in the conditions, tee time, and layout. Won’t go there again and if we had known that it was so crappy, wouldn’t have gone at all. A total waste of money and a day of golfing.
Sunset golf course is not wonderful, but way better than this place. We play there often and would recommend it over Huntingdon country club, anyway.
I've golfed courses from here to Florida. Been golfing for 40 years. This is by far the WORST course I ever saw with trenches splitting the fairways and march everywhere. Horrible course not near worth the money
Rain
The course was nice. I was upset that we only got 6 holes in. It rained extremely hard for about 30 minutes. There was standing water on the course (fairways and greens). I am not golfing on or tearing up a course. When I returned the cart, the pro shop did not offer a voucher for 9 holes. They expected everyone to continue to play
