Weekday Warmup Course
This is the kind of course you should play when you’re just trying to get some swings in... the greens are unplayable, putting on them is essentially a waste of time. There are no tee box markers or any clear directions between holes when you’re walking. The fairway is more like a light rough, and the rough is pretty unplayable. All that said, it’s cheap and has a few interesting Par 3’s so, use it as a warmup for a weekend outing.
Cheap course for a day drink golf session
Overall: Eh, would be more fun to play while drinking with friends.
Course layout was a little confusing, especially finding tee #1 and tee #3. Otherwise was okay.
Course was not in good shape at all. Tee boxes were either bare or not mowed. There was no denotion of white, red, black, etc. No distance signs/posts.
Greens had grass covering maybe 75-80% of the surface, which made reading a putt pretty much impossible.
Also this is a cheap course, so you should expect lots of divots on fairways and greens.
Decent price for quality, but probably shouldn't charge more than $10 for this place. However, good option for beginners or a super quick 9.
Excellent Value for Beginner Golf
For the money this is a terrific club to learn to play. Nine holes with several blind approaches. This course could be so much more if the owners only put some money back in to it. Half of the greens are a complete mess and the cart paths are a road hazard is spots.
Still, this is course we will play again for the value and to support a local club.
Neglected but challenging
Holes are challenging. Having a cart would be good because there are a lot of hills. However, the cart fee is too high. The course is generally in poor shape. Tee boxes are not marked and are in very poor condition. There are no directions or maps to help navigate the course. Be prepared to lose a few balls.
Trash Can
There was trash everywhere. I don’t think they own a lawn mower.
Value oriented
Are there things about this course that could be improved? Yes.
Would it be fair to complain for $15, and an under-ten-minute drive? Not at all.
However... I'll delve.
There were no tee markers, and the tee boxes were in poor upkeep.
The fairways, while cut, were course grass. The roughs were... Well, I lost 3 balls just off the fairway.
Some of the greens we're in good condition. Some seemed to have been slowly healing from aeration long ago.
The bunkers should all probably be marked GUR.
All that said, it was a fun layout for an executive 9. And moderately challenging at times with how some of the trees forced your club selection and/or ball flight.
I would, and will definitely play here again.
For $15.
Greens need work
A nice meandering course.. Good value for the money spent. fairways were not well defined and greens were in need of some care. A couple of holes were in bad condition. I would go back and would refer a friend. Some signage to the next tee for firstime players would be beneficial.
It's ok
9 hole challenging course, not in great shape but it was fun. For the price, it was worth it!!!
Urban 9 holes with a very tight layout.
Bring a lot of golf balls. Tricky layout where (believe it or not) its hard to find the next tee box on at least 4 holes. Great value for the money. Tee boxes were all rough as were 3-4 of the greens. Very well kept tee to green. Odd feature: daycare affiliated with the course set up an afternoon activity on the 9th fairway in front of the green rendering the hole unplayable. Weird.
Second tome out
This was our second time out and the course was a little bit better. But the tee boxes and greens are still uneven. My spouse said get over it and I did enjoy the day.
Awful
Carts are $20, kids are hopping around to whichever hole is open To play, leaving a line waiting behind them. Tee boxes and greens look like they haven’t had a cent put into them in a few years. Overall not worth the headache even for just $13.
Awful
$20 for a cart for 2 people, kids all over the course who hop from hike to hole bc they see its open, not sure a cent has been put into the tee boxes for a couple years, and greens are carpet. Not worth the money for the headache you’ll get playing here.
First Covid time out
This is quite close to our downtown home, easy to get to and 9?holes seems right. There are carts for $10, but no pull carts. The tee boxes and greens are quite beaten up and will need a lot of work to get a reasonable result. The layout is challenging and fun. All I’m all we stopped counting and just had a good time.
Solid course, greens were a little rough, but they were just getting their bunkers done so I imagine they’re typically better.
One thing, they say $10-15 on here, but it’s $25 to walk 9 there. The pricing on here should be updated
