Nice
Great little course for a casual round of golf. Greens are not perfect, but overall nice course.
Cheap Golf
Played a round behind three teenagers. Not a serious place to play golf but it does meet the requirements of a golf course. It’s dirty, the tees aren’t labeled (good luck finding the third tee) but for $20, I guess you get what you pay for.
Short and quirky
Cheap and fine for a beginner. The first few holes have trees in poor places such as Right in front of you. But then it cleans out nicely. Greens are unpredictable
Bees
A lot of bees. A lot of groundsmen working everyday. But good course. Nice short game
Worth $10.00, no more
Here’s a list of things that need improvement:
Tee boxes
Fairways
Sand traps
Greens
Cart paths
And everything else
Good Course
Perfect for beginners or experienced players needing practice.
Good course for beginner and kids
I played this course because I was playing with my teenage son who is just starting. It is a perfect course if you are starting are new to golf as the course is not challenging and the pace allows for someone to play slower.
Like golfing in a landfill
The whole course had trash and garbage scattered on it. The tee box was dirt with no grass seed on it and there was no distinction between rough and fairway. Greens were unputtable from jagged grass. Waste of money and worse golf course conditions I've ever seen.
Sort of OK for the Price
The best thing about this place is that no one is there, so it is easy to squeeze in a quick nine holes. The layout is actually pretty decent with some good holes and an easy walk despite some elevation changes.
The conditions are pretty bad though. The bunkers are just hard dirt and half the greens were covered in leaves (and I mean covered). There is no pro shop, so you just check in at the bar. They don’t have scorecards, and there is no signage of any kind on the course, so figuring out where to do can be a challenge.
For the $11 that I paid, it would be a good deal if they took any care at all to maintain the course. But they don’t....If I was rich, I would buy this place, clean it up and restore as much of the Tillinghast features as possible. It is really a shame to see what is happening here. My guess is that it is only a matter of time before this place shuts down.
BB’ s Review
Course was okay. Tee boxes were terrible. Quite a few leaves on it. Short walkable course.
Course closed
I made a reservation through golf now and when i arrived the course was closed.
Nice little 9
This is a half-decent Executive course for a quick 9. The layout is cool and had a few unique holes, but course is hard to navigate from hole to hole. Tee boxes could use some love, patchiness on the greens, but all in all I’m glad I got out and played here. I’d play again if someone asked.
Short fun 9 holes
Some interesting holes especially par 3 holes 5 and 6
