Flatbush Golf Course

Enjoyed our day at Flatbush. There was a bit of wet weather a few days leading up to our visit as well as the morning of our visit.

For all the wet weather that had come the few days leading up to our visit, the tees, fairways and greens were almost completely dry. They drained very well.

It was my first time at this course and definitely recommend a try. It’s a fairly open course allowing for some flex on errant shots. Staff was friendly and snack bar staff was helpful and quick to keep us going.

Probably only negative aspect was getting swarmed by gnats on a few holes, but probably due to the very wet weather leading up to our visit and humidity when we got there. I don’t blame the maintenance staff, just an unfortunate circumstance of our timing. Highly recommend bringing Off spray or bring thermocell lanterns for cart to help manage the gnats on a couple of tees and greens.

Flatbush is definitely worth the money paid and a great experience for my group of 8 golfers we split into two groups. We had beginners to experienced golfers in our group.

Decided to take a chance to play on the bad quality of air. Glad I did. Played one of the best golf on that day. Paired with a retired officer with great golf skills. We both played well that day. Always love the golf course. Had recommended to my friends.

Greens had been aerated but otherwise OK. Staff was excellent and great happy hour and food.

Need to pay little attention to bunkers.

But I will be back!

Would play again greens were fast fairways great only knock was some ball wash empty or broken need signs for hole direction ie 18 hole worth the money

This is my second time playing the course. I played last fall and the course is in good shape. The only issue I have is the driving range. The range is between the 1st and 9th hole. You need to be careful not only of incoming balls but if you pull one, your ball will land among the range balls. Looking forward for my next round.

Bunkers are not in condition. Greens are aerated at least 2 weeks ago and some of holes are not filled with sand. The course will be in better condition in a couple of weeks.

I have played Flatbush before and I found it drained poorly. This time it has been a few weeks since a good rain and the course was very good and not muddy.
