first time out this year
The course was in nice shape the greens were rather slow for my liking but well kept. I'm a walker I wish earlier tee times were available for walkers , teeing off mid afternoon in the summer will be challenging.
great time good layout great staff
so much fun and everyone super nice
Lack of GPS
They have almost doubled their prices of tee times and you can't get a cart with a GPS.because they ran out. If you're going to almost double you price all your carts should have a GPS system!
Horrible amenities
Course was in decent shape besides being cart path only. Off course amenities were non existent. Bought beer and they didnt have ice for their coolers. Restaurant was not even open. Hot dogs at the turn needed microwaved. Not worth the money compared to other local options
Disappointed…
We were incredibly excited to join this course this year after having such a great experience last season. Our friends were members, we played here often, supported events and clinics, and even hosted a private party at the course—bringing in new guests and business. We also genuinely loved the golf pro, Rich, who was a huge part of why we kept coming back.
That’s why it was so shocking to receive an out-of-the-blue email after just one weekend of membership stating that all memberships were being canceled moving forward, with no clear explanation. Being told to either accept a refund or take a credit for future play—after committing to a membership—felt incredibly unprofessional and poorly handled. We immediately requested a refund.
On top of that, prices have increased significantly, and for the cost, there are much nicer courses nearby that offer a better overall experience. We’ve since been playing at Quicksilver Golf Club every weekend, where the pricing is actually lower right now and the experience has been far more consistent and enjoyable.
It’s also worth noting that the course setup does not feel very inclusive to women or senior players, with several holes not designed with them in mind.
We were also disappointed to learn that Rich is no longer with the course, as we had been planning to take lessons with him this season.
To be clear, every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful, which makes this even more frustrating—it feels like an ownership/management issue rather than a staff problem. Unfortunately, due to how this situation was handled, we won’t be returning this year and would recommend others look into alternatives like Quicksilver.
Out of their minds charging what they are. Owner or worker of the course just helped himself to #11 green and chipped 6-8 balls on the green holding up the two some in front of us. Entitlement is insane at fort cherry this year. I’ll drive 30 minutes the other way and pay $20 less for better conditions and pace of play.
Avoid this Golf Course
Their prices are insane. Avoid this place at all cost
Nice Course
Good course with a challenging layout. The greens were rolled well and were in good condition.
Over booked and under watered
The course was clearly overbooked. Waiting on about every tee box and got hit into multiple times. The course looked like it hadn’t seen water in weeks with dead spots on some of the greens. Normally an okay course but in current conditions not with playing
Overpriced
In October prices are the same as if it was summer. Course is in decent enough condition but not excellent. For the price I can go a much nicer course. Also if you book online you have to prepay.
Great Course
Great Course! 2025 got New Management. They have made significant Improvements, course healing from last. Looking forward to many more rounds
