First Time
I really enjoyed this course, not crazy long, some fun/challenging holes. Wish the staff would have let us (2$ play ahead of the group infront of us, but whatever…good time swinging the sticks
Nice local.
Greens great, fairways very good. It's s local 9 hole local course fun, but for the Augusta types I would not recommend.
Everybody is very friendly. Local pub at course, local watering hole. Great price for your play.
Great afternoon of golf.
Great afternoon of golf. Only issue was we managed to get into the middle of a golf outing! Slower than normal play, but decent golfers overall.
Overall Pretty Good
The red tee boxes aren't maintained very well. They're not flat so half the time you're in standing lower than the ball.
Fairways on the front 9 were awful. Not worth the money we paid to play. Very disappointing!!
Not for Seniors
Tooi difficult for senior golfers and the course is not as well kept as a few years ago
Not what it used to be
Played this course before but it has been years and the fairway and tee conditions were not like used to be. The course used to be in really good condition but this last experience the fairways and tees were not in the good condition, not sure if it has to do with weather or lack of maintenance.
Above average public course
Meadowink is a great option for a Pittsburgh public course. The staff is great, the turf conditions are hit or miss, however they are step above any public course nearby.
As for most public courses, the turf is heavily reliant on environmental conditions, any precipitation leads to soggy, muddy lies and the fairways suffer during periods of drought.
With all that being said it’s a fun track with great hole designs.
Not a Premium Course
The greens were in decent shape. The rest of the course was rough, I know courses are feeling it from the weather but if you’re going to charge a premium price you better deliver a premium product and this completely fell short of that. The value just isn’t there.
Fairways were in rough shape. Looked like a disease that killed
a lot of the grass.
Tee time timing
We played 9 holes, and finished the front in 2 hours. We got to 10, and waited 25 minutes to tee off. Played 10 in minutes and waited again for 10 minutes. It went on through 16 when I decided to leave. Sucked big time. It was 4 hours 40 minutes when I left. Difficulty of 17 & 18 is what I love, but it was impossible because...what the freak happened at 10? Maybe should either spread out tee times to 10 minutes, and have a ranger out there. LOVE YOUR COURSE!
The course has a new look
Due to some bad weather that has brought some trees down the course looks different. The trees on the left on 9 are gone so if your a long ball hitter you can now hit a fade into the green. But you can also hit a draw as the trees on the right are now gone as well.
Meadowink Golf Club offers a well-designed and enjoyable challenge. The layout features a mix of doglegs, blind shots, and undulating fairways that demand smart shot placement. Fast greens—shaped by the hilly terrain—add to the test and keep things interesting.
Despite recent rain, the course drained exceptionally well with minimal wet spots. Pace of play was excellent, and the overall value for money was great.
The only downside is the small pro shop with limited gear, but the on-course experience more than makes up for it. A strong choice for golfers looking for quality play at a fair price.
Neighborhood Golf Course
Good holes for both good golfers and beginners.
Great hot dogs …. Both restaurant and restrooms clean. Friendly staff and starters.
