Rolling Fields Golf Club
About
Rolling Fields Golf Course in Murrayville, also known as "The Fields" to regulars, boasts fast greens that are some of the area's best. The layout stretches across rolling green hills sprinkled with mature trees. There are plenty of interesting holes but the golf course is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence. The front nine is fairly straightforward with only trees and the occasional bunker causing trouble. The course gets more challenging on the back nine, which starts with the longest par 4 on the backside. Accuracy is a necessity on this tough hole with a narrow fairway and small green. Rolling Fields Golf Course boasts one of western Pennsylvania's premier finishing holes, a stunning par 4 with a lake that guards the front of the green. Even with all that the course offers, it is still one of area's most affordable.

HAVE ENJOYMENT PLAYING GOLF
If you want to enjoy a round of golf come to ROLLING FIELDS GOLF CLUB. The front nine very enjoyable and you feel good. The back nine well the par fours are longer and very challenging. They have some of the challenging holes I have seen.
They have the most friendly staff in our area.
Between the ninth and tenth hole great place eat lunch and grab a beer. And off to conquer the back nine.
I enjoy the course and the golfers who play the course. So don’t believe me come and play a round and draw your own conclusion.
Interesting but needs work
Several holes were completely blind tee shots. I couldn't tell the fairways from the rough. The first par 5 is a dog leg right blind from the tee, and still blind from the second shot. No markers to guide you. Although it's a short par 5, even a long hitter would have a blind second shot to an almost impossible green. This wasn't even the 1st handicap hole. Number 18 is the #1 handicap and I birdied it. A little improvement on the course could make this Nice attraction.
The Course plays Well After Rain.
I have recommendations this course before and today I played early morning. In fact I was the first to tee off. The course was ready to be played. Best advice keep your head down.
Not Even Close
This course is awful. Ratings were 31/2 so I booked it and was extremely disappointed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Pace of play was terrible, there were no fairways or rough it was all one, cart paths were an absolute mess. Overall this place sucked.

Play Golf And Enjoy
With all the rain the course was in great shape. Greens were great and so was golf.
A lot better than recent years
They've done a lot to maintain what mother nature throws at them on the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania. The sun and the rain can be brutal on the course. But the greens are as nice as anywhere else, and you get what you pay for. I play about 8-10 times a year here.
