Lebanon Valley Golf Course

I always enjoy playing LV Golf Club. The layout is fun and challenging while being forgiving. The price is always good as well.

The bad.... Course conditions could be better especially the paths or lack of them. Several areas that were once paved are all broken up and several areas only have stone at best. Also the staff can be hit or miss. This time the check in person was very friendly but the bar tender was not.

Bottom line if you want a fun course to play at a good rate this is a good course just be forgiving with some of the staff.

As the title states it was a good course for a HotDeal, but given the course conditions, and amenities, we would not come back if the round was more than $30 or so. Unfortunately our experience was a bit soured by the fact that we waited ten minutes at the bar and still did not have anyone even address us so we continued on with our round, leaving the food that we ordered ahead, behind as it was clear this would delay us even more.

starting tee times were 10-15 mins behind, could it have been because there were 2 sets of 5-soms playing - one on hole 9 and one behind them when we were starting? I thought this was not allowed, especially on a Holiday! And did dress code go away for holidays? I saw one woman playing with a backless spaghetti strap dress and two others with no collar shirts.

A few goofy holes, greens roll true. An hour away from home and would have no issues playing here again and again. I played here twice in one week and was off first both time so I can’t tell you about pace of play. Give it a chance and put it in your rotation.

Cart paths were a bit undesirable…greens a little fuzzy, but enjoy the layout. Decent for the price for sure!

Course was in darn good shape for mid August with limited rain in recent weeks. Of the courses I play #13 is one of my favorites.

Always a good time and great value course for the cost.

This is a nice public golf course which offers great rates. Also, they don’t jam teetimes on top of each other, which is a huge plus for a public course.

I played 9 holes at Lebanon Valley on a week day morning. The staff was very friendly. I was the second off the tee and the pace of play was perfect averaging 10 minutes per hole with no waits to tee off. About 4 of the 9 Tee boxes were rough and the cart paths were more dirt and gravel then asphalt but the Fairways were in good shape and the greens were immaculate. Some of the best greens I have seen in long time. Convenient to Hershey. I tee'd off around 0640, was back in my car by 0830 and back to Hershey by 0915. Note: To be this quick tee off before the weekday teams start. If you are not in a rush, stop at Esthers Restaurant in Fredericksburg for breakfast.
