Very nice course but challenging
I enjoy playing this course because it is very well-kept and scenic. But it is very challenging, so if you are not playing very well, you will likely lose a few balls.
Greens
Used to be one of my favorite courses played here many times before but today greens were very fast and worse was pin placements on several holes. Had our senior group here today and All complained about the greens we are just everyday players not pros some holes were impossible to putt without balls rolling off the greens
Very enjoyable
I'm a member here and I'm still a little shocked at how nice the course is compared to the relatively little I pay per year. The first time I played here was in October 2019 and the course was in tournament ready condition. The first fairway was in such excellent condition I almost felt guilty taking a divot. After 15 months I've found the course does not take breaks in their maintenance. Sure it might get too hot for a while in July and August and the greens can't be mowed as tight, but for most of the year the conditions are really excellent. Big fast smooth greens, plush fairways and rough that is just long enough to present a challenge without searching for your ball all day. The course itself is a good mix of friendly and difficult holes, never too many in a row of either one. Hazards aren't always on one side of the fairway, there's OB both left and right. 2, 3, 4, 7, 13, 15, 16, 17 have forced carries over hazards, some more difficult than others.
Horrible
Fairways dead. Booked T time with no mention of the poor conditions. Fairways were bare, nothing but dirt. Worst couse conditions ever. Not going back. Better courses in area for less money.
A Tricky Course That Makes You Think
I had the opportunity to play Pine Meadows yesterday with a few friends and had a good first experience. I liked the layout of the course and thought it was in great shape. Played in the morning and felt the greens ran true. Fairways and tees were well kept. The course itself was a bit tricky, but not overly long even when playing from the black tees and on certain holes, it really made you think what club you needed to hit. Staff made us tee off on the back and once we hit the turn, pace of play dramatically decreased. We were on pace for about 3.5 hour round, which turned into a 5+ hour round. Price was good as we got a tee time special for $26.00 ($47.00 reg.). I don't feel it's worthy of the $47.00 price, so seek a special if you can. For the beginner player, it's a good idea to bring some extra balls as some narrow holes and wetlands could cause errant tee shots to be lost.
In conclusion, I enjoyed my overall experience at Pine Meadows and would recommend it to anyone looking for a golf course that will challenge you and make you think. Grab a tee time special and give it a try.
Very Challenging Golf course
This course is a really nice golf course. Has lots of swamps and natural wetlands. Those add a challenge on some holes. A lot of elevated greens that have wetlands right under it. Overall it is a awesome course.
Very Challenging Course!
This course was very nice, but was extremely difficult. There was a lot of wetlands and wheat on the course. The holes were positioned correctly.
