Great Value for the Fee
Great overall value. Not an overly long course but the tricky greens more than make it for it. Dont let the lower slope rating fool you; rarely a straight flat putt. The staff was friendly and I used the clubhouse as a remote office after the round.
Great Staff
Probably some of the friendliest staff I’ve met. The course was in great shape . Pace of play was a little slow but not courses fault. Some people have no common sense or courtesy. Starting to think this is my go to course.
Greens need some love
Greens were very slow. Great to chip in the die once you started putting. Overall I really like this course, very accommodating and always great round to play.
First time out this year
Course was a little wet due to earlier rain. Staff excellent and friendly. Greens very fast and difficult. Overall not bad for March golf.
Blue Mountain
For as dry of a month that we have had, she is in pretty good shape. The greens were lush but fast. I played the blue tee boxes which at some spots are hard to find because the paths don’t go there but highly recommend for an economically friendly round of golf!
Like the course
However the tee boxes were horrendous and course is super dry.
Painfully Slow
4 groups backed up at the 4th tee. Never saw a ranger. Greens were very good. Fairways sparse in many spots.
BM golf
One of the better days this season and the golf course was in great condition. Pace was just a everyone is anxious to play since we have had so much rain. BM handled it ok.
Blue Mountain experience
I believe the biggest thing Blue Mountain should add is the distance markings many courses have. White for 150.
Red for 90 etc
I don't carry or use a GPS type device.
Needs work
Cart paths, tee boxes, ponds & ball cleaners need overhauled. Fairways below average & greens fine.
Older track needs tlc
2nd time playing here. Last year it was dried out and beat up. With all the rain we've had i wanted to give i another try.
Much better conditions. But greens are so slow. Tee boxes on the par 3s were in some cases almost unplayable. Its an inexpensive round and the course presents some unique challenges.
Solid track
I thought the course was generally in good shape and fun to play. It is a country course not a country club. Which is fine!
I would play there again!
