Nice track, but.....
First time here and liked the conditions and layout. Would definitely play again but went to add my score on GHIN and the course is not listed.
Back again this year
This is a very good condition course. Greens are in great shape, I will play this course 3-4 times this summer.
Greens are very challenging with some tough pin placements
Will surely put Tanglewood on my courses to play again !
Teaching my daughter how to play golf. Looked for a course that had some openings that would show her the beauty of a golf course and also enable her to see she can have success. The course was perfect and the staff was as accommodating as they could possibly be. They did everything right to gain a customer’s loyalty for the foreseeable future. After today I am pretty sure I will be booking for a twosome most times.
I love this course because it is a mile wide. If you hit a bad shot, no worries. In the spring weeds can be a problem, but in the fall very beautiful with great conditions.
The course for the price was as expected, nothing exceptional just playable A good option for .
A cheap round. However, I think at this price point Yankee Run, Blachawk, Rolling Acres all are better options....
I recommend the course rope off the greens and provide signage to the next hole. Layout Was at times confusing.
Without the ropes/ signs golfers are driving all around the greens resulting in hardpan conditions around the greens.
There was a six some in front of us for the front nine and they were not teaching the young members of the group proper course etiquette with regards to pace of play.
Once past them? No issues with pace of play.
Give it a go when other similar courses are booked.
I will return when the leaves change- its in a spectacular location
Nice challenging course in moderate condition
A course with some thrilling holes. The greens are in excellent condition. The fairways are reasonably well considering the dryer conditions we have been experiencing. The T-boxes are soo dry you can barely pound a tee down in them. The folks in the clubhouse are extremely kind and courteous. A real nice course for the round fees.
Nice wide fairways, so forgiving on errant drives. Good layout with some well placed sand traps and obstacles.
Will Be Back
First time here, but won't be the last. Very scenic course, lot's of trees. Might be tough in fall, but until then I plan on going back again a few more times.
The course does have some interesting holes. There are a few with valleys and elevated greens, One of the par 3's is the most difficult you will ever try to master. #9 I would consider their signature hole; playing over a fountain/pond. It is a par 5 which most long hitters should be able to par. Many of the dog legs do require accuracy in length.
Good overall golf course
Course is in good shape. Some fairways are a little spotty. Greens are nice.. good place to golf
Very disappointed in the course condition. At times could not distinguish fairways between the rough. Grass was made up largely of clover and crabgrass. Fortunately only played nine holes with my playing partner.
