Play chapel hill or foxchase instead
I had a tee time for 315 PM on 11/11/2021. I scheduled through the golfnow app and used the mobile check-in option when I arrived.
The course was not crowded at all. There was not a starter at the first tee, nor did anyone direct me to a cart. I had to go inside of the pro shop and pay like any other routine round. Not to mention I was charged and extra $9 for some reason (yet to be determined).
The staff at the counter weren't friendly at all, and proceed to tell me "I have never seen mobile check in before". After telling me I was paid in full online, I was asked "how many holes you playing"? I told him I was going to play as many holes as I could before 5 PM, since I was paying for a full 18 holes. Very unprofessionally he said back "better play speed golf".
The staff here are extremely rude, and they do not respect the game of golf. This course is a disgrace to the game and does not deserve to exist in an area with so many great courses.
Good Course
The pace of play was bad. Course was in good shape the postage stamp size greens were quick. The greens fee was very reasonable.

Thank you for providing feedback on your round so we can reach out to you. We are sorry to hear your pace of play was not as expected. We can certainly appreciate wanting have a good pace of play-and we can help you achieve that if you call the course to inquire about what is going on that day so we can provide a realistic projection of how pace of play will be. Our pace of play is usually awesome overall-peak periods, such as weekend am or event days, it can be a little slower, but rare that anybody plays in more than 4.25 hours. We are glad you enjoyed the value you received and certainly look forward to seeing you again at the Manor soon!

Good Value
Manor is a great value during the week. Course is in excellent condition. It is the perfect place to play if you want to play as a twosome or if you are just starting out. Staff is always very friendly.
One of the Best Courses for Beginners and High Handicappers
Like many players recently, I have been getting back into golf after about 10 years off. Manor offers a great layout, with forgiving terrain, wide open fairways, and beautiful greens. It is evident as soon as you step onto the first tee box that the owners recently invested a great deal of effort and money into improving the course. The fairways are flawlessly maintained and the greens are some of the best that I’ve played in the Reading area. I have already shaved about 20 strokes off my game in three rounds at Manor (honestly). The friendly owner, Cheryl Heckman, and her staff really give this course a service edge over others in the area.
If you haven’t played here, you’re missing out!!! This is a real “feel good” course for players of all ages and skill levels.

Wow-We are so glad you are enjoying the feel of our Manor family experience. Thank you very much for your kind words.
We truly work hard to provide the best for our golfers given the resources we have. We appreciate you choosing to work on your game at our course and certainly look forward to seeing you swing at the Manor for many rounds in the future!
Excellent greens
Great course, favorable greens, well care for course. A league was behind us so we felt rushed however we played like it was a scramble.
Lots of fun!

Wonderful to hear you had a great experience with us! Thank you for your valuable time in sharing your positive experience and we certainly look forward to having you back at the Manor!
Early Friday at the Manor
The course was in perfect shape! I was paired up with 3 brothers that enjoyed themselves immensely! Their pace was a little slow for me but otherwise a perfect day at the Manor!
Rude staff
Play this course with my brother as a gift for Father’s Day from my wife. Arrived ahead of time to check in and get a lay of the land since this was our first time. Found out upon check-in that apparently they don’t allow two people to play together and were told we had to play with two other gentlemen we had never met. Wouldn’t have minded except for the fact that we didn’t know about this ahead of time and this was a Father’s Day gift from my wife to myself and my brother at some time together before my brother has his first child. Was really looking forward to having some quality time with him and it was unfortunate that they would not allow us just the two of us to play. The woman’s version of telling us this was coming out of the clubhouse to where we were standing and asking in a rude manner “so, do you guys know anything about golf??” And proceeding to tell us they don’t “do that here”..... ok, then why were we able to book it with just two? I’ve played many courses prior, even worked at one, and was in a weekly golf league, and never had that experience anywhere else. I won’t be back. Thank god the other two gentleman were very nice and also felt the same so we played our own two and two just at the same pace, but it put a bad taste in our mouth.

What a lovely thought for a Father's day gift-we were aware and were happy to oblige with the tee time that was prepaid by the spouse via SmartPlay. This was booked online, and online with golfnow it said for 1-2 golfers when it was booked. What that means, is that normally it is for four golfers, and they have one to two spots left as the other two are booked. All bookings with golfnow are presented this way. We are sorry you misinterpreted this when you booked. If you would have called the course directly, you could have asked when we could have had only a twosome out and we would have given you a time we could accommodate. Our course was fully booked that morning, so there was no way they could play as a twosome and the other two golfers could play as a twosome as it would have taken up two tee times rather than one, which would have slowed up the pace of play, Also, this business is my livelihood and passion. I can assure you I said nothing even close to 'do you know anything about golf?' to the gentlemen when I approached them on number two tee. I would never treat my customers that way no matter how they presented to me. Our starter indicated they would be paired up when they teed off, and for unknown reasons, they teed off on their own without the other twosome. I approached them on number two tee and asked if they could please pair up, and if there was anything I could do to help them get to know the other twosome so they felt comfortable. They indicated the twosome behind them asked them go tee off and not be paired up, which did not fit the story we received from the twosome behind them. I invite you to call me at 610-334-8690 so we can discuss further and also to call the clubhouse if you want to play only as a twosome during these busy times and I can assure you we will accommodate when we can.
The Manor
Course is in great shape had an early tee time and played in 2:30 hours at a real nice pace.
Heritage Hills Golf Experience Package

Mark-
I am glad you had called me before I received this review and I was able to make you aware that the fee you received was not charged by us-that was a golfnow booking fee for using with use of the mobile ap. I am disappointed that after we talked and you seemed to understand that you chose to post this review. I followed up and called you again after this review and you understood it was not anything on our end with regards to fees and I reiterated you can book directly with us on our website to avoid the fee. I am grateful that you round could not have been that bad since you were able to book again the Sunday after you wrote this review on the hot deal. My staff and I want all of our customers to experience the value we try to provide, and if they do not, I am always accessible for them to contact me directly to professionally and courteously accept the feedback and resolve any issues to improve their experience as long as those issues are within our ability to resolve. We look forward to seeing you back at the Manor and please book direct with us or call us to book so you do not have this issue again. Cheryl Heckman, Owner
