Compact Course
I enjoy playing this course alone because it is not intimidating. People of all ability levels play here. Having said that, pace of play was very slow not because of the beginner elderly golf’s in front of me but the foursomes of guys bombing balls ALL over the place & searching for them. I enjoy playing this course and have not had this issue in the past but as other reviews mentioned you have to be aware of balls coming at you from all sides.
Beautiful spot and nice outdoor restaurant/bar!
Do not golf here
This course is in such terrible condition. They pack in the golfers so tightly that you’re nearly getting hit with drives. We left after two holes because it was so awful. Never again.
FORE
This place is a firing range. Holes are all right on top of each other. Expect long waits, and bring your hard helmet out there because you'll be hitting the deck at least once in the round and bracing for impact just about every hole. Feel like I just survived a day of incoming mortar fire.
Overall
Nice course to practice your skills. Can use all clubs in the bag. If you play this course, be respectful of the grounds. Divots, Ball Marks, stuff marks etc. Repair them. Common Courtesy.
Harbour Lights Golf Course
Corse was in good shape. Some holes were challenging. Would play again.
Nice Course
Other than being a little on the short side, Harbor Lights is a nice, well maintained course. As my longer hitting son said, it's fine for old guys (like me) and women but the long hitters might be longing for a chance to hit the big sticks.
Arguably the worst course in RI
Course conditions were horrendous, staff was bad, they were fixing greens and driving on them, it was like playing in a swamp.
Hidden gem
Phenomenal conditions for the cost, greens were true, course is short but demands sound and varied tactics. Restaurant had great food and good view of players teeing off. I'll be back soon
my review
The setting was beautiful. The bay near by and the tree lined fairway (mostly) made for an amazing setting. However the course had a lot of "potholes" which made for a rough ride in the golf cart. Being an elderly senior citizen, I played the forward (red) tees which made the course easier
Descent 9
Descent course for nine holes. Took about two hours five minutes for four people new to the course. Food was okay, but could be better. Friendly staff at the bar and pro shop. I would recommend and return for another round.
Great value for the money
Compared to competitors in the area this 9 hole course offers resort like atmosphere and is a great value.
