White Plains Golf Course

The course is a fun course that's in pretty decent shape for it to be the middle of winter. With the discounts I got through the app, plus member discounts, cash back used and monthly discounts, we have played here the last two times for about $0.50 per hole.

I enjoy playing this course. It’s always fun, not so difficult and just really pretty area.

The only issues were the greens needed work, the fairways had lots of bald/mud spots, but even with that is was a good course.

The greens were pretty rough in spots and super fast. Good course though. I will go back.

Stay away.. stay far far away!

From beginning to end this place makes zero sense. They literally put a golf course inside a neighborhood on the side of a mountain. None of the holes make sense, they layout is absolutely insane, driving back and fourth through this neighborhood to go from hole to hole. There are 220 yard par 3s. 200 yd par 4s and 600 yd par 5s?!?!?! This place must be shut down at all costs.

Mid. Greens have looked better. Fairways and bunkers are in good condition. Tee boxes also look good. Course layout is challenging but achievable

The staff was kind and attentive.. the course was in beautiful shape.. the cart person had everything we needed and was kind and friendly.. we had a great time

Staff was friendly and helpful. Layout was interesting.Tee box grass was long, ground so hard difficult getting tee in. Fairways in rough shape. And not the course’s fault but Beware of Hot Deals - we paid $84 for 2 on a Hot Deal when the course charges $60 for 2.

Overall good experience. Course conditions were great especially given it had stormed recently. Very well maintained, well designed course. First 4 holes are the most difficult on the course, so warming up beforehand will save some trouble. The staff in the clubhouse were perfect, but the Marshall/ranger keeping pace of play came off a little rude. Followed us for the first two holes, and it felt like she was pestering us the entire time with comments (maybe jokes) on our play that made amongst friends would be funny, but being delivered in a serious tone with a frown felt unwelcoming. My younger brother isn’t well experienced, and hit each water feature on the first two holes. She told us on our second shot of hole one that we’d probably need to let the group behind us play through. We got started 5 mins earlier than our tee time, and not once in the round did we not have to wait on the group ahead of us when teeing off. Overall it turned out fine, but she left a bad impression on us before we even finished the first hole.

Arrived to find out that one hole was closed due to repair. Looked like the majority of the holes had had some repair done recently. Greens were aerated, but still better than some other courses’ greens are at their best. Typically White Plains has the best fairways in the Cookeville area, but they were a little lackluster in places, but I’m very aware that course management is an absolute necessity, and I’m fairly certain that I got a discounted price. Love this course and can’t wait to see what these repairs/improvements look like in the near future. Would recommend this course to anyone
