Country Hills Golf Club
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

Fairways rock hard. Many blind shots with significant fairway slope and roll. Many shots that i thought were safe ended in hazards. Green in good shape with multiple levels and break. Overall a frustrating round mainly due to not knowing what shot to play.
Spend the extra money and play somewhere else
Guy in the proshop was a clown. Golf balls turned into bouncy balls with how hard the greens were. Maybe invest in your course and put some water on it and then you can act like you're working at Augusta. Terrible round, wouldn't pay $5 to play here again.
An afternoon at the Country Hills
Very friendly staff and course was in great shape. We started as a twosome and finished on 3.5 hrs.
Decent country course
The greens are in good shape, fairways decent, staff is friendly, but this is country course, no frills here.
Just another public course
Live near by, so play quite often. Actually been playing this course for 15+ years now. Overall the course in pretty good shape. There's better out there and there's definitely worse.
My complaint is, over 2 weeks ago, my 4 some played the front 9 in 2 hours and 5 minutes or so, and we were told we were behind pace and needed to pick it up and werent exactly friendly in the way they said it. (Finished 18 in under 4 hours) Which is fine, but they also had several holes that were Carth path only which added time. So I don't think that was that slow.
Then yesterday, when I was paying for my round, they made a comment of don't be slow..we stay on top of it here. Well we were behind a 4 some with 3 carts, and we played the front 9 in over 2.5 hours because of them. Nothing was done or said. Almost 5 hours total round. Which I can understand being a weekend.
I just dont appreciate the smart comments of picking up the pace if you aren't actually enforcing that and making people that are actually slow pick it up.
Ruff was high. You could lose a ball hitting in the middle of the fairway. Wet everywhere, rained the day before. Course is very enjoyable.
We will return :):)
Hard course but fun!
We play here often. The staff is exceptional and the course is well maintained. Will continue to play here!
Friendly accessible course
We play this course everytime we visit Tennessee. It is our local and favorite course. A beautiful day today so lots of people playing so pace of play rather slow. But it's a really attractive course so not really a problem although 4.5 hours for a two ball is slow
Course in excellent condition for winter and played well even if I didn't!!! Always a challenge
