Country Hills Golf Club
About
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

This course was challenging
This course is not for beginners it is a very challenging course the wildlife was amazing very satisfied overall
Great value course that can be slow on the back 9
Overall a great course with friendly staff and decent driving range. A few holes have a layout that makes them impossible to go for the hole from the tee, which is a nice challenge. Other than that, a vary straight forward course with minimal obstacles. Decent greens and fairly well kept. Have golfed here about 6 times and keep coming back. Carts have small coolers on them which is nice. Carts usually don't have sand to fix divots so fairways sometimes look a little beaten up. My only real complaint is that after making the turn, you are usually met with more people than you were originally behind from the first nine. Often waiting on each tee box becomes inevitable after the turn.
Nice course but lost quite a few balls. Greens were too sandy and slow. Would play here again.
Course with character
Lots of variety. Interesting holes. Fairly demanding off the tee as far as accuracy. Several FANTASTIC holes (example : the par 5 4th.) multiple downhill par 3s. We will go back. Also, $20 cheaper on Saturday morning than any other non-muni in the area.
Great course
Very playable course, greens were beautiful and true. Good pace of play. Good course management.
Fun and challenging
Country Hills is a challenging course but fun, with a good mix of holes - from long par 5s to short (but tough) par 3s. Greens were in okay shape. Fairways were good.
Always a good time
Country Hills is an overall challenging course, but it does have a good mix of holes from easy to hard. It’s also a pretty scenic course and the staff is great.
Overall course is in good conditions and good value for the area. Hole 13 is under repair for sledding in the winter so we skipped the hole.
Horrible condition
I know it’s challenging to keep a golf course in the best of conditions, but this course’s fairways were just horrible! Torn up, tuffs of grass and dirt everywhere! Weeds, dead grass and not one mention of a closed hole #13 when we checked in, The greens were in mostly good shape and the layout was very nice. My wife and I joked as we played who thought it was a good idea to run a field cultivator over the fairways!
Country Hills
Course was in good shape. Greens were very smooth and in excellent shape. Will definitely play again
Country hills
Greens were excellent staff was very friendly. Pace of play was great. Doing some course improvements which will help when completed
Great course for the money
The golf course has nice layout and hilly. The green is very slow. Its very challenging and fun to play.
Tough course, needs a little love
Course was in great shape besides a few holes. The 13th fairway is non-existent because of the neighborhood used it as a sledding hill. If you don't hug the trees to the right and hit it in the fairway, the ball rolls all the way to the base of the hill. Same goes for the approach shot to the green. Skipped the hole. BE AWARE!!
Country Hills review
Good layout, greens very fuzzy and fairways sparse. But that is all understandable given this time of year. I plan to play it again later in the year.
Country hills golf
Very good layout. Course was very wet due to 2 days of heavy rains. Greens were in great shape. Will definitely play again
Country Hills
Very hilly with sloped fairways and a lot of blind shots. Course was verry soggy after recent rains. Strong sewer odor around the clubhouse
