Great service.
Played on aTuesday, the course had puddles everywhere....terrible irrigation, terrible fairways.
The greens had just been aerated, sand everywhere. Payed full price.
Three holes had major digging, tractor tracks and piles of dirt. It was a first to play a course that had so much digging-_- maintenance going on and no price break. Probably won't ever go back.
Saturday at the Ridge
At the last minute on Saturday, the stars aligned and my afternoon freed up, so I went to golfnow and checked out the deals. Blackberry Ridge was open at 200pm for 20. The couse was wide open and is growing in nicely. The bunkers are in a state of disarray but they are working on them.
This course has friendly service and is laid out very nicely
Me and one of my buddies played 18 holes in just over four hours but the service was great the greens were in good condition the only thing was the fairways need some work.
No ball washing stations at all
Course was fair to average. Booked 18 holes, but could only make it through 9. Absolutely no drainage so lots of standing water even in the middle of the fairway. If you happen to land in the rough, chances are you will not find your ball. No sand in bunkers, just rocks and mud. Rough is full of rocks. Cost not bad for the quality of the course. Thank goodness for Golfnow's special rates.
Fair
The course still needs a lot of work, mostly the sand traps.
friendly staff
called in after making tee time the previous day on golf now to add a player and they moved my tee time to accomidate the extra player but charged me full price but still fair deal.
cheap course. fun to play
For the money you get what you pay for.playing by myself and just killing time course
Could be a nice course
The computer was down when we got there so the poor fellow was not having a good day
The greens were the only saving graces for this course
It needs a lot of work and water . The bunkers were in sad sad shape
Great greens conditions
I have golfed here 4 times now in the past two weeks with friends. The bunkers need sand and attention, the fairways are wide, the greens are good sizes and are in great shape. The greens are also very challenging. The courses grass is currently dormant but will probably be gorgeous next spring. Very friendly tee placement for the ladies. Can't wait to play here again. Great value.
you get what you pay for I guess
This course was in terrible condition. The only maintenance was to the greens. Fairways, bunkers, tee boxes all in disrepair.
Greens are great, fairways and traps need attention, but overall it is a great value.
I love the layout of this course and the pace of play. Yes they could improve the fairways and sand traps, but the greens are great. I have played here 3 or 4 times and each time I have been able to tee off when I was ready. There is nothing like having the course to yourself for such a great price.
Moving Forward
Great Layout. The greens were fantastic. It is still a work in progress, but they are working hard to get it in shape.
Price and Pace of Play make this and easy choice
This course needs a lot of work on the tee boxes and fairways, but they put the attention to the greens which makes the course playable. Greens are always in great shape anytime I've played. Other courses in this area you are always at a 5hr plus round on a Sat on Sun, I've yet to experience that at this course.
The course is on its way back!
I really enjoyed the round. I played here earlier in the year and it was pretty rough. The new management is turning things around. The greens rolled true and were fairly quick. I'll definitely be back. It is also a friendly course for the ladies.
Enjoyed the round
The course is in pretty good shape. We have had plentyof rain and sunshine this summer. The sand traps do not have sand in them but it looks like they are trying to correct that.
Nice people....
The new management has some work to do on this course. Great layout, just needs some TLC.
Good course for beginers.
This course was in as good of shape as I have ever seen it. The greens were smooth and medium fast. A big improvement over past times I have played there.
Great test of golf, especially for the price
i and two other buddies played a little after noon on a Saturday. I'd never set foot on the course before so didn't know what to expect. The fairways are lush, the greens were a bit long and thus slow, and the bunkers have more grass in them than sand. I'm used to playing with a flat lie about anywhere I land, and that's often not the case here. That, combined with some thick woods and OB all around make for a premium on hitting the ball straight.
Must know how to work the ball both left and right off the tee bc of doglegs
Challenging but nice layout. Need extra attention to the sand traps.
Cousre is under new management and is dilligently trying to get the course in tip top shape
The course still lacks maintained bunkers and the fairways need a little attention. Greens are EXCELLENT though. Once the new management gets all thier ducks ina row this course has will be great. A little herbicide and some weed eating will go a long way here. But we had a great time.
this course is horrible lose balls in the fairway .staff is not friendly it has some potential nice par 3's scenic elevated tees greens are not bad I would assume the fire they had recently was intentional do not waste your time here even if there is no green fee stay away
