Reviews
Great Place to get a round in
Always friendly staff. It’s a municipal course better than a lot of the privately owned open to the public courses but it doesn’t have a range for you to warm up on. They just don’t have the space for it.
Great value for above average course.
First time playing here and it was a genuinely fun course layout. The jets flying over top give it a sense of wonder and aesthetic. You realize your out there to better your game but also enjoy yourself. Would recommend instantly.
Short and Forgiving
Fun and quick course to play. I usually play here a couple times a year. This recent outing was the best shape I've seen it in.
Airport Course is great for beginners
It rained all yesterday evening. Even then, the course conditions were better than expected. Very little mud. Greens and fairways were plush.
The pace of play is what you would expect for a city-run public course, but don’t let that deter you. It’s a short Par 72 course at under 6000 yards from the White Tees. All Par 5s are reachable in 2. The course is very open, and favorable to those that can’t consistently hit fairways.
Overall, I will definitely play again. At less than $25 for riding 18, it can’t be beat.
Decent
Fun track...decent condition
Always cool watching the planes come in
No driving range, rude staff and sparse amenities
First I arrived and was met with handwritten ripped paper signs guiding you where to go, and then found out there’s no driving range. What course doesn’t have a driving range?! Then told I start on ten with no warm up. I go to start and obviously cold start isn’t a good start and the cart guy rolls up looks at me and says” This is for experts, do you even know how to play golf? “ I was pretty frustrated already so I stepped aside and let the regulars go ahead. I played through only to find the course torn up and ripped apart. Not maintained well. Will not return and don’t recommend to anyone who visits. Maybe being from a Miami Beach course I’m spoiled but I won’t be returning here. Far from exceptional service.
Rough greens and rough
Greens chewed up and bare patches all 18 holes. Rough dry and hard packed dirt. Layout was challenging and fun, too bad course wasn’t maintained well.
